Lam Tei Grill

It has always been a year since I last visited Lam Tei Grill. Yes, it is THE place that gets everyone to actually come to this secluded place — a Steak House. My friend just got back from Australia and as we were wondering where to meet up, I suggested this place as I longed to try this and it would be a shame if I did not try that given I come to Lam Tei once a week at least.
Anyways, you can only get in if you have make reservation; if not, if you are fortunate enough, you may still get a table but the chances are very slim. Before we got in, the server told us to sit at the little garden outside while wait for our table to be cleaned. I have to say that the little garden outside is very romantic — wooden table chairs; plants and stuff giving you such a cozy feeling. After a while, we were seated inside. The lights were extremely dim and we had to rely on the candle on our table to actually read the menu properly. There are quite a big selection of food; however, coming to a Steak house, how could you not try the steaks here? The price for those ranges from HKD$ 300 to HKD$ 400 onwards, which surprised me a lot to be honest. We ordered them anyways as we thought well, we do not come here every day. The steaks were nicely cooked and nicely seasoned. Honestly, I do believe they might worth HKD$ 250 but HKD$ 400 is too much. Food is okay but not surprisingly good. One thing I felt rather unsatisfied was the server, she did not seem so friendly unfortunately. Still room for improvement for this place.
