Nice location and nice view from the 20^th floor, that is it for the positives.
Service: poor! All smiles in the beginning until we decided not to order the banquet dinner (over HK$ 1,800, not that much in reality especially when converted to US$-the cost of a dinner for two back home) since a few friends did not show and many of the rest (3 out of 7) are on diet. From that point on, minimum service. Changed our plates only once, not once did anyone ask if we enjoyed the food, my water was UNFILLED FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT!!! Oh, the waitress was SHOCK when I requested a glass of ice water. Well, get use to it, your restaurant is in tourist area and many «foreigners» do drink that stuff. BTW, the restaurant was 70% empty last night, they had plenty of staff and time to refill one glass of water. This restaurant tried to bill itself as upscale but the service is only at street-​food-​vendor level. At the end of the dinner, some asked for a to go box, the waitress returned with one and just left it on the table. Hello lady, pack the food for the customer!
Food: not much to talk about. Tasteless goose, plain chicken, and the worse «Szechuan» chicken I have ever had. If you are a Cantonese chef and do not know how to handle Chinese peppercorn to arrive at the trademark «mala» (麻辣) taste, please don’t sell it and ruin someone’s dinner!
To the owner/​corporation, train your staff better. Teach them customer service. God forbid you want your customers to return and they potentially might order more expensive items next time. Restaurants are a dime a dozen, we DO NOT HAVE TO EAT AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT and we WILL tell a hundred friends.
