Pretty good and authentic Indian food. We especially like the tandoori chicken — well marinated and tender. The lamb rogan josh and beef madras were good too. On the other hand, the naan is a bit dry and hard, and I wish they use basmati for rice.
They have set meals for a good value.
Service is not exactly warm, but efficient enough. Also when we set down they brought cold water to us but a glass of warm water for my dad, an attentive gesture I appreciated.
The restaurant is behind the famous Chan’s roasted geese, not on the main street.

This Indian restaurant has been in business for more than 10 years, it is one of the hidden treasures in Sham Tseng.
I went there for lunch and each lunch set comes with a vegetable soup entrée. The soup is thick in texture but not heavy at all, very comforting and tasty.
Their authentic tandoori chicken is definitely one of my favourites. Served on a sizzling plate with a squeeze of lemon and sliced onions, chicken is marinated deeply and grilled to perfection to lock in the flavour, keeping the chicken breast tender and juicy… mmmm…yummmmm!
Freshly baked garlic nann is another highlight! Warm, fresh and puffy from the oven, with a texture of soft chewy bread layered with thin crispy crusts and a hint of fresh garlic on top. Delicious to be served on its own or with any main dishes.
The only downside is that there’s an Indian songs x HKNews crossover happening in the restaurant: P
Carpark is available outside of the restaurant.
