Yum! Waiting for hubby shopping next door, dessert… why not? Extensive menu, lots of choices. I had the mango sago with green tea ice cream. Not overly sweet and very refreshing for those hot and humid days here in Hong Kong.

Tried glutinous rice, mango and sesame rice ball desserts. All amazing! This was one of my favorite HK food destinations and we came back twice! The desserts were amazing and they unbelievable variety!

My favorite dessert place in HK. It has the best mango pomelo & sago sweet soup! It also serves lots of different kinds of desserts, both cold and hot. A very nice to place to have something sweet.

Honeymoon desserts is one of my most frequent dessert places, mainly because it’s everywhere — they have thirteen branches in total, so you’re never far from one. The dessert is not too expensive either. One of my favorite things to order at Honeymoon is the coconut milk sago. They’re very generous with the sago(I love sago, and I hate when sago desserts skimp on their sago!), and it’s very sweet. I don’t normally like things that are too sweet, but this is an exception. Other things I’ve tried at Honeymoon are the mango pomelo sago and walnut soup, which are all not bad. Honeymoon does get quite crowded after dinner, especially on weekends starting from around 9 or 10pm when most people have just finished their dinners and want their dessert fixes. I’ve been at Honeymoon at those hours a few times, and it is a bit hard to get the attention of the waiters because they’re so busy. You also have to line up for a while before getting a seat. Other than that though, it’s a great place to go for dessert. They have a pretty extensive menu and they don’t just have traditional Hong Kong-style desserts(like the ones I mentioned above) — they have more western ones like mango pancakes, milkshakes and the like. People rarely order the latter here though so I would recommend opting for the traditional style desserts.
