We were meeting distant family for a big family lunch who live in this area. We had a private room for the ten of us for dim sum lunch. We then left, walked around and visited in someone’s home for a bit and then returned to this same restaurant for dinner. Both lunch and dinner menus were in Chinese, but there were pictures. So if you do not speak the language, you could probably point and pick your way through a meal at this restaurant. 3.5STARSFORLUNCH: There was nothing special at our dim sum lunch as it pertains to «dim sum Chinese lunch.» But with that said, it was good quality and in line with standard, good, dim sum lunch you can find really anywhere around Kowloon and Hong Kong. It was also packed at lunchtime. This restaurant is huge and accomodates the masses. 5STARSFORDINNER: Again, it was ten of us for dinner and a big family meal together. Many great dishes, but the fish and the goose in particular were exceptionally fresh and well prepared. The fish was a halibit of sorts from their tank that they bring over in the bucket to show you before they prepare him. Really extraordinarily tasty! Notably a high point of our meal. And again, packed with people! By the time we left, this restaurant was bulging at the seams with patrons. As for décor and design of the restaurant itself, nothing exceptional. Because of the high volume, soft goods of carpet, chairs, walls are kind of warn. It was not dirty or anything, just average in this department at best. Staff was quick, friendly, accomodating. I am not sure, but I did not see an extensive amount of restaurant options in this immediate area as we walked the few blocks from the MTR. As such, maybe this is why this place is busy. There is no competition close by. Regardless, they are a good quality restaurant we would return to if we were in the area again.
