Lovely place with a cozy ambience from the light oak panels and most importantly the warm hospitality of the well trained staff. Food was exceptional and the decent portion size are a welcome departure to typical piecemeal sizes you get nowadays in fancy restaurants. Ceviche is superb; let alone that you can’t find much restaurants that offer it in Hong Kong. The fried calamari on the side is a pass. The duck confit was a surprise, given it’s neither Japanese nor Peruvian, but was equally delicious. The crispy skin was a nice touch and the accompanying rice was quite satisfying. The sushi rolls although tasty are not the expected Japanese type — you can’t taste the usual vinegar/mirin like in normal sushi rice. I would take points off for that but the sauce is great. Definity coming back for the ceviche!

It is refreshing to see Peruvian cuisine has made it to Hong Kong, even more amazing that this caliber of Peruvian food is available here. I’m a huge fan of Peruvian food, but in the US, Peruvian food tends to be more homey, comforting rather than fine dining. I was able to try a few dishes by Chef Manuel including one of my favorites — anticuchos, or beef heart. Usually in the US, it is served on a skewer(it is considered a street food), but here, it is presented beautifully and executed so well the hearts were so tender and juicy. Lomo saltado is not the usual style found in the US. Here, it utilizes little baby potatoes instead of French fries, and instead of chunks of tomatoes, little grape tomatoes are used. The accompanying rice is dotted with corn and peas which elevates the whole dining experience. We also enjoyed ceviche, very typical of Peruvian cuisine. Chef Manuel used to work at Astrid Y Gaston in Peru which is why his cuisine is the way it is! Absolutely stunning!

Great food and an even better vibe. Latin music permeates the room and the sweet taste of rum or their house wine compliments the super fresh and delicate flavors of their dishes like the tuna tartar, or light citrus salad. Newly opened, but a must stop for a great evening!

That was an amazing evening! This menu has some«over the top» secrets. Secrets, because I never had the chance to taste this kind of food before and I was overwhelmed with food combinations that really surprised me. This is a must go! Atmosphere, food and staff, all great!
