If you find the modes of commercial studio lack a comprehensive system to monitor you progress, I would very much recommend CCDC instead.
CCDC is a renowned contemporary dance company in Hong Kong, which also is dedicated to promote dance to the public as well as nurturing new generations of dancers.
Quite different from the more popular coupon approach used by most if not all commercial dance studios, CCDC takes a course approach; that is to say you have to first enroll to the course before attending the classes. By using this approach, the participants are more regular and the dance tutor could easier adjust the levels of each class and thus better monitor the progress as a class.
Besides the more technical and academic genre such as ballet, Chinese and modern, CCDC has recently introduced styles like Jazz funk, Hip Hop and street jazz to cater to the different needs and preference of the students.
Just like the common saying that theres a place for everyone; there is a studio for every dance lover. So if you want to learn dancing, what could be your reason not taking action?
