I took a deep breath before starting this review. It is my secret café to stay away from the hustle for some reading, work, magazine time. Primely located on Prince Terrace, right next to escalator, this hidden gem engages a loyal community like me. Who wake up on a Sunday noon, just head there with some iPad in hand.
Every morning this French pastry bakes around five to six fresh pies/​cakes. The cherry cake, marble cake, banana cake, blueberry cake, lemon tart fascinate me all the time. To balance the sweetness, you would better hit some espresso or coffee.
I once did something stupid. Thanks to my craving for mozzarella, I ordered mozzarella with tomato, parsley and olives. An entire dish, man. Of course it ends a bit overwhelming for my stomach. Nevertheless, the cheese is not supermarket quality and it was a masterpiece.
Besides coffee, they also serve mocktail for Sunday hangover curer. The artisan drinks are house made beauties. Loaded with sick bubble for my vanilla latte, pure white cream spiral down to top the mocha.
