The slightly out-of-the-way location is worth it for the great views over the harbour. There’s a nice indoor table running along the window, plus the terrace seats when weather permits. Food is quite good, we’re gone for tea and enjoyed both the savoury and sweet options. Dinner is also good, the truffle pizza had an excellent thin crust and rich flavour. The one point against them is the service. On the good days it is ok(but never great). But on our most recent trip we had a reservation and arrived on time. No one was at the front desk, we had to walk halfway into the restaurant to even get a server’s attention. We were told we had to wait 15 minutes for a table and the server disappeared. We were left standing there looking at a room with 15 tables, only 3 of which were occupied and the rest covered with dirty plates and glasses. We did finally get seated but it was a terrible start to what was otherwise a good meal. If they could get their service quality up then it would put this place over the top but it seems after many years that they have no intent to do that. Shame…

I have eaten here twice in my two weeks stay in Hong Kong, located basicly next door to the hotel I stayed at, I was introduced to this place by a italian eyeglass designer who stayed at my hotel. And his words are«its good italian food when an italian loves it». So I tried it, loved the Pizza, Pasta, Salad, so I returned the last night before I left Hong Kong. This is a must try… when in Hong Kong, there are many choices in World Cuisine, and this is one of them!

I really like pizzas with a sunny sided up egg on it. I don’t know what it is, even though it’s just a fried egg, it still makes the whole pizza more unique and intricate. Aside from the egg factor, I really enjoyed this pizza. I’m the type of gal that likes real thin pizza. Even though I lived in Chicago for along time, the home of deep-dish extremely thick pizza, I’m still a New York girl at heart where I love eating the delicious, delicious, thin cheese pizzas. Like I said before, I like eating crispy flat breads, so this ultra crispy flat bread like pizza was perfect for me. This pizza was just enough for lunch and definitely hit the spot. I fairly enjoyed it that when I got back to the office, I told a colleague that I must take her to this place sometime. However, next time I do want to try the salad bar. All the food at the salad bar looked super fresh, staying true to its words that it’s healthy, as stated on the menu.
