Apple Store

I think the quality of service has room of improvement. We went in pretty much decided what we would like to buy (Mac Book Pro). However, for some reason, each sales person decided to refer us to another sales person and ask the same questions. Why? Our purchase is not large size enough? The help with the set up was also not good. The person was trying to serve two customers at the same time. Neither one was sastisfactorily served.

Iphone, why you always give me such a hard time?! After my iPhone couldn’t recognize my password of print, I had to go to the Apple store in CWB. This Apple store is probably the biggest one I’ve ever been to in my life. Two floor of merchandise and Apple workers trying to help out the customers. I got here around 10:15am as I was staying in Wan Chai which is literally a 5 minute train ride there. The store was already packed at that time and since I didn’t make an appointment, I had to wait maybe 30 minutes for them to master reset phone. I mean, I should’ve just done it myself at home, but at least if they did it. it wouldn’t be on me lol

poor customer experience ! there are nearly 100 people picking iPhones between 1pm and 2pm. people were making reservations to sleep in a line. You don’t want a reservation like that!

Of all the three Apple Stores in HK, the on at Hysan Place is my Apple Store of choice. I have bought an iPhone there, subsequently brought it back after a terrorizing incident in which I smashed my screen upon dropping it on concrete ground, and traded it in for a new one for around $ 2000. Service is prompt and efficient, and you never have to wait around for long.
One of the best things about this Apple Store is its prime location smack in the middle of Causeway Bay. It’s halfway between Sogo and Times Square — seriously, what more can you ask for? If you’re walking around in Causeway Bay, it’s more than likely that you’ll pass by Hysan Place, so if you need to get something checked you don’t even need to go out of your way for it.
Compared to the Apple Store at Festival Walk, and even the one at IFC, this one is much more well-​staffed. You don’t need to be walking around searching for a genius who’s not occupied, because there are always a few that aren’t busy helping someone. Sometimes if I’m in Causeway Bay and running low on battery, I’ll go into the store and plug out one of their cables to charge my phone. The staff don’t mind because the store is never super busy anyway.
The Apple Store spans across three whole floors, with plenty of seating on the above two floors if you’re setting your laptop or device up or are here for a course. There’s a good variety of accessories too although I wouldn’t buy them here as they are more expensive than buying them elsewhere.

This shop is huge! It’s tiring going through this whole store. I had to bring my laptop to get it repaired, they directed me to the top floor of the shop. then as I was waiting, I went downstairs to buy a phone cover, I was actually tired.
This store is the biggest I have gone to and it is also the most well-​equipped! It has rows and rows of learning tables, rows and rows of repair tables, walls and walls of… you got it, phone covers! It is absolutely huge here, with probably the biggest selection of apple products/​apple accessories I’ve seen.
This store is awesome if you are looking to kill time and looking for somewhere with air con and a bit of space to move around in. The apple store people at this location are very helpful as well. I have bought items here, I have asked for repair, I have had silly questions and at the end of the day, they were still extremely helpful.
I had a problem with my iPhone and initially the guy who was helping me told me he couldn’t help me, with a completely reasonable explanation, which i accepted. Later on, he went on to get another guy to help me as i had to make another purchase. That guy came back with a credit card machine and apparently the first guy told him the problems i was having with my phone. He so nicely explained the situation again, and he said he would be able to help me, if i came back on another day.
They really didn’t have to as I have already understood the situation from the first guy, but because they were being sincere about helping their customers, they did make an effort. I really appreciate that as I find good customer service in this town is not easy to come by.
I remain an apple fan, not solely because of their products but their training is impressive!

An Apple Store these days is so ubiquitous that there really is no need for me to expand on what it does: you either know or you don’t, and if you don’t — well then chances are you don’t need one.
If however you are one of the gazillion mac/​idevice-​ophiles out there here’s a tip.
Don’t bother with the Apple Store in the IFC mall …
EVERYONE, and I mean everyone … and their mother, and their mother’s cousin, and probably all their cousins as well — that’s a whole lot of people so, you get where I’m going with this — well, they are ALL in a queue waiting for service at the Apple Store in the IFC!
I think I read somewhere once (but can’t remember where so don’t quote me as it could be nonsense) that this is the busiest Apple Store in the world — but that’s ok, you can go somewhere else …
It might seem slightly counter intuitive to head to Causeway Bay to AVOID a crowd, but trust me, the Apple Store in Hysan Place is much less crowded — don’t get me wrong, it can still be busy, show me an Apple Store anywhere in the world that doesn’t — but you will still be in and out MUCH faster than if you went to Central. And if, like me, you are extremely clever and get down there around 10am when they open — not a queue in sight. You will in fact be witness to one of life’s rare events; blue shirted ‘geniuses’ outnumbering regular people! You will be able to walk in, get your problem fixed (maybe even have two or three people come over to see how it’s all going) and leave. *sigh* now that’s tec support nirvana.
