This place in Hong Hum is popular among students. Economy compared to the likes of Tea Wood. Their menu is comprehensive with several chef’s recommendations. The food are what you expect from a Taiwanese chain store if you’ve been to Taiwan, it can’t go horribly wrong or it can never be awesomely tasty, so this will do tonight to satisfy cravings for authentic Taiwanese flavours and bubble tea.

This place is well known among Taiwanese students from the nearby university. It’s actually the first overseas branch from a Taiwanese chain so you can expect the quality and the taste of food to be just like the original. Noodles with Beef, Fried Pork Chop with Rice… just yum. Surrounded by hundreds of restaurants in this part of town and lines can still be seen during lunch hour in this 20 seats eatery. it’s all because the price tag is just so affordable regardless of the cramped space in there. Regulars like me have to pay a visit at least once a week. But beware — you can smell like an onion after eating there because of the open kitchen and poor ventilation. Bring fabric fresher if this is your worry.
