Hotel Residenz Beckenlehner Garni

I stayed here one night during my business trip. From the outside, it looks like a regular apartment building, but it actually is a small bed and breakfast kind of hotel. A small hotel with not a lot of rooms, but feels very cozy and comfortable. Our taxi driver was also having difficulties finding the place with the address I gave him. But thank god for Google Maps and the American flags at the front door, we were finally able to find the place.
The room I stayed was small, but its very clean. Not much to look at inside, but it served its purpose. The bathroom seemed small too. I am not a big guy, but I was even kind of hard for me to maneuver inside the shower stall. Also, its nice to get hot water in the shower almost immediately when you turn on the water. It was really nice as when I was there, the temperature was in the 40s which was cold for me.
The room came with free breakfast. I was expecting coffee and danish pastries. But it came with a pretty good spread. There were bacon, eggs and sausages. But those weren’t any just any sausages, they were the traditional German Weißwurst and they were delicious! There were other trimmings like toasts, yogurts, fruits, coffee and juices. Not bad for free breakfasts.
Overall, the room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. And they all speaks English which is a big plus for international travelers. I’d have give this place a 5 Star, but I felt the room was kind of expensive. But for over 135 Eur a night, I felt it was a little steep. But I was still happy with my stay here.

Empfehlenswertes Haus mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern, sauberes Zimmer/​Bad, umfangreiches Frühstück, geringes Parkplatzangebot. Die fehlende Restauration wird durch ein fußläufig erreichbares Wirtshaus wettgemacht. Allerdings scheint Chefe ein rechter Grantler, er sollte, wenn überhaupt, seine Mitarbeiter nicht coram publico zusammensch… Das hatte eine Qualität, bei der ich mich schon einmischen wollte. Dennoch, wer in der Gegend ein Bett braucht, kann hier gut einkehren.

Eine Übernachtung in Unterhaching und dabei dann ein Hotel der absoluten Spitzenklasse. Schon am Empfang eine herzliches Hallo und schnell und prompt die Wünsche erfüllt.
Das Zimmer geräumig, stilvoll — also dem bayrischen Land angepasst -, sehr sauber mit Flachbildfernseher.
Nachts geschlafen wie in Abrahams Schoss, keine störenden Geräusche einfach himmlisch.
Das Frühstück sehr sehr ausgiebig, das Buffet gefüllt mit allem was man sich wünschte und immer fleißige Helfer des Hauses die für Nachschub sorgten.
Auch das Auschecken und bezahlen ohne große Umstände schnell akkurat und freundlich. Man hatte immer das Gefühl bei der Familie, die das Haus betreibt fühlt man sich wohl. Auch wenn das Doppelzimmer für eine Nacht rund 200 EUR gekostet hat
