Ooooooh My Gooooodnesss This place was awesome. 4get the funky mix reviews because compared to route 66… Which AWFUL this place most Americans would appreciate. We had the Tasty Plate. @t € 16.50 all the wings were gone tht came with the meal so we were offered more ribs. Route 66 is NO comparison. The meat here is whats important. The steak fries were great. We switch the cole slaw side for the fries. Anything else you wannah no just holla bk. Over n Out… FranknKimm

When I first arrived at the restaurant did not seem to be too busy. It was about 15 to 20 minutes before someone even asked us what we wanted to drink. We placed our order did not take too long for the food to arrive. I am an American so I like to think I know what a good American barbecue is. This however was not good American barbecue. My wife ordered the pulled pork barbecue sandwich. The sandwich was soaked with coleslaw juice and just kind of dripped all over the plate. Really didn’t have too much flavor to it, kind of tasted like nothing and made the bread really soggy. I ordered the tasty plate with pulled pork, ribs and barbecue wings. Nothing actually seemed to be barbecued it all looked like it was baked in the oven. The ribs were tender but lacked any real barbecue flavor. The chicken wings weren’t very good at all and the pulled pork did not have any flavor. I asked for corn in place of the coleslaw because I don’t like coleslaw. When the corn came out it had no butter on it and it was brown in the core of the corn was brown I took a bite from it and it was sour like it had been spoiled. I would give the food over all of 4 out of 10 stars. On a sidenote our waitress never came to ask how our food was. We asked for onion rings as an appetizer they gave us picante sauce with our onion rings. I tried to get the waitress attention literally four times and she ignored me all four times. I had to get up and walk over to the bar area and ask them to bring me ketchup. I had to ask another waitress serving other tables to help me with my corn that was bad and spoiled and did not taste good she helped me. Maybe I just had a really bad experience there but I don’t see how this place got so many good reviews. I don’t plan on going back to this place ever again. I will not recommend it to any of my friends or anyone else. I can make better barbecue in my home on my own grill.

Very impressed! Upon walking up to the restaurant I noticed it was located in the middle of some soccer fields. The staff was very friendly and our server spoke good English. This restaurant will definitely be a regular for us. My entire family enjoyed their meals.

I realize most reviews are very good here, but I did not have a similar experience today. We were in a party of 6 for dinner on a Saturday evening. Two of the orders were wrong and a mysterious order(not ours) showed up on our table. To make matters worse, my steak dinner was 25 minutes later than the rest and my salad was delivered 5 minutes before the dinner. I ordered a medium steak but sent it back because it was bleeding.(It should be noted that the steak was unseasoned and not marinated.) I spoke with the owner, who stated he was having wait staff problems. However, the restaurant was not too busy this evening. Please understand that the menu is American-style German cuisine. Somewhat disappointing for an American. As much as I’d like to, I cannot suggest this restaurant to anyone and my friends and I will not be returning.

Bone-suckin’ finger licking, fall off the bone meat… ribs are pretty doggone good! From what we’ve tried so far, this is the best American-style BBQ in Stuttgart. The wings, ribs, and pulled pork was great. My only suggestions are about the iced tea and baked beans. I would have loved to tasted some homemade good old fashioned southern sweet tea, brewed by the sun; but I understand that most Germans may not like this and prefer the Snapple variety. The baked beans weren’t to my taste, the sauce being too tomato-based. My flavor of baked beans is the molasses and brown sugar variety with hunks of bacon, but everyone has their preferences. Anyway, awesome BBQ!
