One of the luxuries of life I enjoy getting once in a while :-) Having grown up with shoe shine services all over the place in India, it is something of a dying art in the western world. Not many places have it and I am glad Munich is one of those places that does have it at the airport.
It starts at € 8 and you can add as you go. The guy who runs this shop is really good and does a thorough job of polishing your shoes to look like new again :-) I am not great at looking after my shoes and it’s great to stop in once in a while and get the shoes back on shape :-)
I usually stop here when I have time and find it a super relaxing experience. Something to enjoy when you have time to kill and you are wearing your favourite leather shoes ;-)) A small price to pay for shiny shoes once again ;-))
