I was under a deadline and searching for an Aspen wood texture to make a simple cube of wood. I went to their website and typed in «aspen» and found it in their «Wood» pack. However, at the time of ordering there was no index catalog link that I could find. I presumed (incorrectly) that the catalog would be included at time of download.
I sent them two emails on their website and tried to call them. There was no voice mail I could leave, no reply to my frantic emails. A couple of days later, I get the invoice so I reply to the invoice demanding a refund or at least the correct product as well as a proper catalog. I call my credit card company to dispute the charges.
I get an email reply back almost a week later saying my «abusive» emails made them refuse to give me a refund. OK. So now it’s not really a business. but personal feeling here. I reply to Sebastian asking him to understand my position and that I am still super pissed off at the whole thing and to put up a link to the catalog for each product.
I sent him this email and was writing a new email concerning misrepresentation of products and international laws when I thought to double check the website for the link… Well what do you know? All the sudden there is a super clear PDF thumbnail right next to the product name.
That is funny because I bought the product after reading all the fine print below the summary text… so is it possible that after reading all the fine print, I would miss this ridiculously obvious new PDF thumbnail link to the contents?
To be fair, it is possible… notthing is impossible in these matters, but how probable is it that I read every single piece of fine print and normal print and looked as every single image on the product presentation page at that time and did not see a link to the index?
Am I a crazy person that just loves to make trouble and waste my time with such things?
I give this company zero stars for the way this has turned out. Needless stress, no return voice mail available, late replies to emails… I mean it took a week to get back to me and suddenly there are thumbnails to PDF catalogs to the product when I could not find it before?
Honesty is good for everyone. They can keep the money. They will never have my respect until they suck it up and do the right thing no matter how «abusive» my words may seem.
Yes…as you can see, I am still super pissed.
