This is a pleasant enough Greek restaurant in the Gohlis suburb of Leipzig. It is certainly not the best Greek restaurant in Leipzig. Mytropolis holds that title, but Mykonos has some clear pluses. First of all, and maybe last of all too, it serves a daily buffet of pretty authentic appetizers, main courses and deserts. The cost: 11.90 (Euros). Can you beat that? The buffet had quite a few choices, even dessert. As usual in Greek restaurants, you start with a free ouzo but you do have to order drinks separately.
Other advantages of Mykonos: We ate in a pleasant garden area next to the restaurant, with comfortable chairs and cushions. The main dining room looked pleasant and comfortable as well. Finally, the restaurant is easy to get to, very close to the 16 tram and also pretty close to the S-​bahn.
