Classic little Biergarten right smack in the Würm River. This neighborhood gem is a far cry from the massive 10,000 seat biergartens in the city. With seating for around 700 this is a cozy little joint by Munich standards. In the classic tradition, you can choose to bring your own food and/or grab standard Bavarian snacks from the Schmankerl or there’s a lovely little self service restaurant inside with outdoor seating spilling into the Biergarten. Food is your standard fare(roast chicken, pork, potatoes, etc) with a touch better quality than most probably due to the smaller size. Bier is Augustiner, King of Bavaria, and taste damn good and cold on a hot summer day as you let the sound of the stream wash away your troubles. A must visit if you can make it out of town a bit.

**NICEBEERGARDEN** AMBIANCE ========= Plenty of parking out front. Nice authentic Bavarian feel. We opted for the beer garden instead of the restaurant. FOOD ====== Beside Munich’s Isar River, this restaurant and beer garden offers traditional Bavarian dishes, like oven roast pork in dark beer sauce and steaks. (However on the downside, it also serves dishes from around the world, like enchiladas, fajitas and an assortment of homemade burgers.) Ordered an Augustine Radler(lemonade and beer) with a Thueringer Bratwurst and Krautsalat salad, all for under 10 euros. BEER and SAUSAGE was fantastic. RATING: 4⁄5 Our friends ate some ‘American BBQ’-style ribs which didn’t look too appealing. PROTIP: Not only for food, lodging is available upstairs in case the eating, drinking and merriment ends up continuing until the wee hours of the morning. OVERALL ======== Good spot for families and friends. Liked the beer garden and the view of the river. RECOMMEND.
