I was there today. I grew up in Balkan so the food doesn’t taste nothing like real Balkan food. You can buy cevapcici in ALDI and they are better imo. For the money you will spend it’s not that great.

Essen war OK und ausreichend, Preise sind auch OK, hatten mit dem Schlemmerblock bezahlt.
Am besten alte Kleidung anziehen, danach stinkt man nach Wirtschaft ;)
Bedienung (älterer Herr, warscheinlich der Chef) ist sehr sympatisch, lässt viele lockere Sprüche ab und am Ende gab es noch einen Espresso und nen Schnaps für Umme

Das Restaurant gibt es schon ewig in KL.
Das Essen ist zu fettig und die Portionen zu gross. Bin kein Fan davon, eine Platte voll mit günstigem Fleisch viel
Pommes und Djuvetschreis zu bekommen und dafür zu viel zu bezahlen, wenn es nach Fett schmeckt.
Das Ambiente ist nicht schön: zu alte Möbel, heruntergekommene Toiletten (diese erreicht man über das Treppenhaus. Im Winter sehr kalt), nicht besonders sauber, zu viele Teppiche überall (man riecht den Staub).
Personal besteht aus Familienmitgliedern, die sich um das Kochen und Bedienen kümmern. Sind nett und freundlich.

The other day we had the chance to have lunch in Kaiserslautern, and we took the opportunity to check out this Balkan restaurant. We were very impressed. First, the owner was extremely friendly. He has had this business for 30 years and his wife has been cooking there for 38 years. Both the bean soup and the goulash soup were delicious, obviously both housemade. We ordered a big platter of mixed meats with fries, and Duvec rice. In addition we got the traditional ajvar and chopped onions. The portion was huge, way more than the two of us could eat. And it came with 2 salads. Wine and beer and Serbian coffee completed the meal. We’ll definitely return.
