Ein «richtig echter» Chinese… Endlich!!! :)
Endlich mal nicht eingedeutschte, sondern original chinesische Gerichte! :)
Nach mehreren China-​Reisen vermisse ich hier in Deutschland oft die traditionellen Gerichte. Leider findet man hierzulande meist nur die dem deutschen Gusto angepassten Standardrezepte, und auch in fast jedem Restaurant die selbe Auswahl.
Das ist im Hotpot House anders. Die dortigen Gerichte habe ich in Deutschland fast nirgendwo sonst gefunden. Zudem war ein Großteil der Gäste Chinesischer Herkunft, was eindeutig für das Restaurant spricht.
Wir waren dort zu zweit essen, fanden es beide spitze und werden dort sicher sehr bald wieder hin gehen! :)

Amazing Place!
If it’s your first hot pot experience, take their Buffet Option. (It’s not your typical definition of «buffet».) The taste is super authentic and can definitely be compared to Little Fat Sheep () in Los Angeles & Beijing. The Spicy Pot is the best, but take mild if you can’t stand super spicy. The owners are super nice and very generous. I can’t believe we were able to find such a place (and in the middle of Heidelberg… of all places). My family is from Northern China and we go for hot pot all the time. My mom gave this place a two thumbs up.
On a side note, their bathroom has air condition, is super clean, and doesn’t smell. Awesome place overall!
