I needed a passport photo, happened upon this studio in my neighborhood, and a nice surprise waited inside. It wasn’t just a one-​shot, here-​you-​go, have-​a-​nice-​day affair as I expected. Anja really took her time to get the best looking photo of me as possible. Usually you hide your IDs from friends because of the embarrassing photo you took at a drugstore or in a booth — or you show everyone for a laugh — but I’m totally proud of how I look on my passport! And I use the photo for
I’ve been back to Anja since with work colleagues for team photos. The best part is that you can sit with her and watch her retouch things, point out changes you would like to have; and if you’re not happy with how any of them turned out, then you just take a few more and try again. But it’s usually not necessary. Anja has a way of relaxing her clients, making them at home in her studio, so that when the camera comes out you aren’t too nervous or awkward. Top service.
