Hop on and off Sightseeing

Love this hop on hop off bus in Frankfurt which you can pick up across from the Station (Main stop). You get to see the cathedral square, financial district and locations of interest that are pertinent to Karl Marx. Very friendly staff. I loved to stop in Frankfurt for this bus; unfortunately, last time I stopped in Frankfurt, they had to suspend the tour bus run because of the Occupy Movement. I was very disappointed as the businesses were brought to a standstill and the owners were not very happy, esp. the local entrepreneurs due to the loss of income.

Bei den Touristen ist es Trend sich auf eigene Faust loszumachen und die Stadt selbst zu erkunden.
Wie in vielen anderen Großstädten, gibt es auch in Frankfurt «Hop on and Off» Busse. Diese bringen die Touristen von einer Sehenswürdigkeit zur anderen. Das besondere ist, ist wie der Name schon sagt, dass man wann immer man möchte aussteigen kann und sich anschauen kann, was einen interessiert. Man kann sich dabei so viel Zeit lassen wie man möchte, denn der nächste «Hop on and off — Bus» hält direkt wieder dort, wo man ausgestiegen ist.
Auf diese Art und Weise kann man bei einem Glas Apfelwein Frankfurt genießen und den Zoo, eines der Mussen, den Palmengarten oder den Dom besichtigen und erkunden.
