Also das Goldener Mond ist so eine Hass/Liebesgeschichte. Mir scheint, dass man nur eins kann. Entweder man ist hin und weg oder man will nur weg.
Bei mir ist da die Tendenz für das Wegrennen gegeben. Es ist eigentlich alles ganz ok, weshalb ich auch keine negative Bewertung geben will.
Die Musik ist etwas schrecklich für meinen Geschmack und es ist immer zu laut, als dass man sich gut unterhalten kann… werde hier auch bestimmt wieder landen. Wenn man in Erlangen unterwegs ist, kommt man hier immer wieder vorbei. Ich werde aber stets versuchen nicht zu lange bleiben :)

Dunkles Holz, und irisches Bier und Musik reicht hier nicht um ein Irish Pub Feeling zu bekommen. Leicht schmuddelig. Bedienung nett und von außen auch recht unscheinbar. Fazit:

Wahnsinns Irish Pub
waren schon vor 2 Jahren das letzte mal dort
da gabs die 2. Bar noch nicht jetzt ist es richtig
Super. Wir hatten nur durch Zufall einen Platz bekommen
es war Mega Voll.

Really convenient location, beside the main train station in Erlangen. I go here to Irish Set dance on Thursdays, they’ve renovated the side room and put in a big screen tv. as well as a very nice looking bar.
The atmosphere is nice, staff and owner very pleasant, the music is a little loud for a relaxed meeting and conversation and the atmosphere is more German than Irish, but all in all it’s a decent place.

Total super Pub.
Das ambiente ist so wie es sein soll. Alles 100% Pub.
Am Wochenende gibt obendrein noch Live Musik von überwiegend lokalen Größen. Die Preise sind absolut ok.
Ich kann nur empfehlen mal reinzuschauen und den abend mit Gesprächen am Tresen und diversen kühlen Bieren oder Whiskeys (irisch/schottisch kaum Bourbon aber der hat in einem irischen Pub auch nix verloren) zu verbringen.
Ich halte es für das beste und authentischste Pub in Erlangen.

Live music is of mixed quality. Only one sort of cider is not enough for an Irish Pub. The atmosphere is kind of «smoky», even without cigarette smoke. But all in all it is not that bad.
It is said that this location is owned not by Irish people but by an Austrian.
