They advertise themselves as «Germany’s favorite pretzel» and I’ve never been to a bahnhof that didn’t have a Ditsch stand. So, they’re certainly Germany’s most convenient pretzel!
We grabbed a few butter pretzels before a train to Prague. It’s just what it says — a pretzel split in half and piped with butter. For a snack, with some cans of local beer, it was tasty and did the trick. I did wish the pretzel was fresher tasting, it was a little dry. All in all, a good place to grab a fast, cheap snack before hopping your train.
