McDonald’s

Von den Räumlichkeiten ganz okay aber seit ich es kenne eines der McDonald´s mit dem wohl schlechtesten Service der Fastfoodkette in Köln. Man denkt öfter bei Bestellungen das Personal fällt ins Wachkoma. Selbst wenn nicht viel Betrieb ist dauern in der Regel die Bestellungen viel zu lange im Vergleich mit den anderen Restaurants der Kette. Ansonsten positiv wären nur die Öffnungszeiten zu erwähnen nebst der zentralen Lage im Stadtteil.

I’m still loving it. I mean i am McD’s Generation, i grew up with that stuff.
Even after so many years i love that unhealthy junk-​food.
The biggest problem i came to find here is first of all Credit Card acceptance.
It’s sort of a German thing, but in such US-​chains it should be a must.
Second problem is, getting used to the german mores, for example, here the regular Quarter Pounder is called Hamburger Royal, i think that’s basically because of the metric system.
Another thing i actually hate here, is that you only get one Ketchup sachet with your fries.
Also soft drink refill? Well i guess they could get broke because you drink to much from the machine.
And last but not least important, what’s up with this Kiddie sized «Big» 0,5 l (17 Oz.) cups.
I agree not all branches are like this.
Some have refill and some accept CC.
What i somehow see is that those are McD’s GmbH owned, and the «crappy ones» are private franchises.
Well i’ll still love my beloved junk food.
Even if i get pissed of a little every time i get to go to one that is from the «crappy ones».
It should be a Standard for McD’s to accept CC, to offer soft drink refill, and to offer as many sachets as asked for free.
Like in the US or Mexico for example, just here in Europe are they so cheap, even though the prices are higher.

Langgebliebene und kaltgewordene Burger werden rausgegeben. Pommes immer labbrig.
Versiffte Tische und Boden überall wo man hinschaut. Selbst wenn kaum Gäste da waren, standen die Mitarbeiter lieber hinter dem Tresen rum und quatschten, als sich um die Sauberkeit des Ladens zu kümmern.

Unfreundlichster McD, den ich kenne. Bei dem «netten» türkischen Mitarbeiter bekommt man statt Antwort auf ein «Hallo» nur einen genervten Blick, dass man gefälligst bestellen soll. «Bitte/​Danke» und «Tschüss» beherrscht er augenscheinlich auch nicht, und schiebt stattdessen Ware und Wechselgeld wortlos rüber.
Mir ist klar, dass ein McDonalds kein 5-​Sterne-​restaurant ist, aber ein Minimum an Freundlichkeit sollte wohl drin sein.

Standart McDonald’s hat zwar nicht 24 Stunden geöffnet dafür einen gratis Hot-​Spot.
