The classification of Bordeaux Superieur is outside of just Bordeaux. Even with the different title, it doesnt mean you’ll get better quality. The higher alcohol content and longer oak aging unfortunately didnt boost the Beaulieu’s taste. It was ok and didnt feel like it stood by itself as a drinkable wine sans food. Since these blends are usually bug expressions, some meats with salt and fat are really the pairing it requires to hold up
