Closed by Le Puy-​en-​Velay on the road from Brioude, you will see a magnificent spectacle on the left. And you never grew tired of it. This is the castle of Polignac, one of the oldest noble families in France
The Castle fortress from the Middle Ages was built on the top of a high plateau which cliffs 100 m high.
From up there, the position was strategic.
Now it offers a remarkable view of Polignac (village)
the countryside and the city of Puy.
The visits of the castle are recommended, whether free or
organized.
