It is near the Bastille metro station and I am not entirely sure if she speaks English, as I never heard her try, but the owner is wonderful!
The shop is unassuming, but when your eye wanders over to the right side of the shop, you see the most amazing array of BAGS.
Gorgeous, leather bags in varying muted colours (you can see what Parisiennes like in terms of colours here), and I wanted to buy out all of the shelves. She had muted green, charcoal, browns, reds… just stunning.
I should mention that it is very pricey here, expect to pay $ 300 — $ 400 USD for a bag, and if you think you’re better off getting a small brand name bag like LV or Coach instead, this is not the shop for you.
Personally, I think buying a «no-​name» bag that is beautifully made and in an interesting shape or design for $ 400 is better than the same bag everyone buys (and I should mention that I feel like all the LV bags I see are fakes: P)
