SuperShuttle Paris

I reserved the shuttle service for a return to the airport from our Paris hotel. An hour before the shuttle was scheduled to arrive, I received a call from the service stating that their driver was indisposed and could not pick us up. I was forced to reserve a taxi for an additional 11 euros. To add insult to injury, Super Shuttle still has not issued me my credit card refund.

Beware… if you book a private non-​stop car on the return trip to the airport. They will try to pull a fast one and put you in a group van. They blame the dispatch agent and you will have no other choice because you need to get to the airport and are already in the van. Getting a refund for the diiference is almost impossible once you have left France. You have been warned. These guys are very shifty and dishonest with Americans.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I prepaid for round trip service. My flight was delayed and I called the American till-​free number to update. They asked me what time my flight landed and that was scheduled as my pickup time. Tip: tell them to pick you up at least 30 minutes after your flight lands instead. My connection to Orly was delayed getting to the Tarmac and that’s when things got difficult. The confirmation email instructed to call a local French number once my luggage was picked up. I didn’t have luggage to claim and the local number said the office was closed. (It was around 10:30pm). I called the toll-​free US number but they said they had no way of calling France. Apparently, there was a driver waiting at baggage claim with a sign that had my name on it. This was never mentioned to me in my confirmation instructions. The driver left because my flight was delayed and he didn’t want to wait any longer. Also, there is no Super Shuttle kiosk at Orly, so I could not take a later shuttle. The US representative told me to call a taxi. At this point it was well after 11pm. Fast forward to my departure date. I had a 6:40am pickup from my hotel. At 6:44am my concierge took a phone call in the hotel lobby. It was Super Shuttle calling to say they could not pick me up! I had to take a taxi after all. 44 € wasted.

They started my trip in an awful way! I pre-​purchased before I left America, and called before I left, to check where the pick-​up was. True to stereotype, upon arrival, the nastiest attitudes greeted me in the airport to tell me that the SuperShuttle is «that way». No pointing. No specific location. Just «that way». #1 Upon making reservations, or upon arrival, SuperShuttle should tell you where to go/​have a person/​sign.
So I went outside and got hustled by all kinds of cab drivers, waiting for the shuttle – to no avail. I finally go back in and find someone who smiles at me to be told that SuperShuttle is on the level below. I move to the level below, and watch not one, but TWO SUPERSHUTTLES look at me waving them down, then keep going. What?! It’s not like you didn’t see me. You looked at me and kept going. Come on!
So I took the bus in, as recommended by my host the first time. Then it took me $$ to settle my refund over the phone – in which they collected a «service fee». Really?
Shy away from SuperShuttle Paris!

Leider hatten wir mit Super Shuttle auch kein Glück. Ich habe im Januar‘16 das Shuttle für März‘16 gebucht. Ich habe nur eine mail bekommen, das meine Kreditkarte akzeptiert wurde. Mehr nicht.
Nach 1 Std. warten am Flughafen, habe ich dort angerufen und man hat uns gesagt, das unsere Reservierung vergessen wurde. Daraufhin sagte man mir, dass ich mir ein Taxi nehmen sollte und versicherte mir, dass ich die Taxikosten erstattet bekomme. Ich bekam nur die Kosten für das Shuttle erstattet. Ich habe mehrmals den Kundenservice angeschrieben und auf die letzte mail noch nicht mal eine Entschuldigung erhalten.
Scheiß Service und ich werde es nie wieder buchen.

$ 25 each way. Fantastic service!!! The representative was waiting for me in the lobby area with my name. Then she escorted me to the waiting area to wait for the driver. The driver showed up within 5 minutes. He did go to other terminals to pick up other customers but didn’t take too long. The ride was easy, not too much traffic to my hotel.
The driver showed up on time (3am) for my ride to airport. Everything went smoothly. Very happy with the service!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Made reservations online day before departure, shortly after making online reservations, we realized we needed to leave a little earlier than we originally thought. One quick phone call confirmed our change.
5:30AM on the dot the Super Shuttle service arrived at our hotel in Paris, just as promised. The driver was professional and attentive. He drove efficiently and also spoke English. Also, free WIFI in the car!
100% recommend this service. When visiting Paris, don’t let your hotel desk attendant try to strong arm you to utilize ‘their’ recommendation.

We we’re told the driver would meet us in the airport, after waiting for 30 minutes trying to find him we went to the information desk, they told me to use the phone at a desk round the corner, we received some assistance making the call, they said 15 minutes. Our driver eventually turned up but walked straight past as he changed the name on the board he was carrying, he came back 20 minutes later and changed the name on the board to mine, I asked him why did you not show me the board properly when you first walked past (no response), we got in the taxi, he drove round the airport, recieved a phone call and turned back, he didn’t explain why he was turning back but it was obvious he was going back for someone else.
We lost one and a half hours then the journey took an hour, not a good start to our holiday. Really bad service.

POSITIVELY THE WORST SHUTTLE SERVICE IN THE WORLD!!! I booked online through Expedia and paid for transportation from CDG to a hotel in the 18^th Arr. As others have stated, the claim to «greet you when your flight arrives» is a bunch of lies and B.S. After my arrival I had no idea where to find my ride. I called five times to inquire. Each time I was told «fifteen minutes» I stood at the arrival terminal curb and watched other people get into shuttles from competitors of this sleezy company. THREE HOURS after my flight arrived, a driver finally came with a full van with half a seat. I jumped in the smelly van out of desperation. The driver was rude and drove too fast. Other people in the van were commenting about how long they had waited for a ride. The driver dropped off several people before dropping me off TWO blocks away from my hotel. He merely pointed «ici» to indicate the direction of my hotel. If I hadn’t stayed at this hotel before, I would not have known where to go. This company is the biggest rip off in Paris transportation. I wasted over FOUR HOURS after my flight landed before I finally arrived in central Paris. Avoid, avoid and avoid! A tip: I suggest taking the RER train from CDG, transfer to the Metro to get into Paris. There are very good You Tube videos that provide detailed instructions on how the process of taking the train works.

After getting quotes from several other shuttle services in the area, I used SuperShuttle during a recent trip to France. I was very happy with the service. Using the SuperShuttle website, I booked a shared van service from Charles De Gaulle airport to my hotel by the Eiffel tower. Our flight got in early and we made it to the curb after customs about one hour earlier than I had booked the pickup. I saw a SuperShuttle marked van and told him I was early. He checked my name/​confirmation number and we were able to hop right in and start our vacation. The price paid was in line with what a taxi would charge but I didn’t have to worry about getting stuck in traffic– I’m sure we saved some money. Also, it was charged in the US, so there was no VAT or currency fees to worry about. Their website was easy to use and confirmations were received quickly. I will definitely use this service again!

i flew here from the united states yesterday, i left my phone in the shuttle as i had slept off after a long flight, after being dropped off i realized i had left the phone and i called immediately, they said they found the phone and would ask the driver to return it after work, today i called them and they said the driver didn’t find anything, this is a short summary, i have the detailed email messages on how they inconsistently lied, my first trip to france is ruined thanks to supershuttle.

Outstanding service while in Paris! When the bus that I had reserved was a no show, Super Shuttle sent two vans to get us. The drivers were fantastic, and one can even had wifi! I would highly recommend Super Shuttle!

TL/​DR: AVOID. Took them over three hours to get me from CDG to my hotel in the middle of Paris.
My experience with SuperShuttle France was so terrible I almost feel guilty sharing it, but in the interest of saving other people from the same horrific experience:
My flight arrived at 3 pm, local time. After I cleared customs, I looked for the SuperShuttle greeter, who I was told would be waiting just beyond customs. For 30 minutes, no one arrived. Eventually, I saw the blue jacket of one of their greeters enter the terminal and approached him. He phoned dispatch who told him that my shuttle would be there in «two minutes.» He escorted me to the curb to wait.
Nothing.
Over ONE HOUR later, I saw the SuperShuttle van approaching, but rather than picking me up, the driver pulled over into a waiting lot within my line of sight. (I couldn’t cross lanes of traffic to get to him and the lot was gated.)
I went to one of the Information counters at the airport and one of their employees called SuperShuttle’s Paris office, who told them that my driver was arriving «now.» (I’d now been waiting for over 90 minutes; 30 minutes inside and over an hour at the curb.)
I went outside to wait again. About 5 minutes later, the shuttle driver arrived and began playing dumb. He told me he’d been waiting for me in that spot for over an hour. I told him that was a blatant lie because I’d been waiting there and he just shrugged.
Once I was in the shuttle, he began telling me it wasn’t his fault that I was kept waiting so long. (He had decided the jig was up, apparently.)
We exited the airport toward my hotel and after about five minutes, his Galaxy Tab began ringing; more passengers had arrived at the airport. Although there was a ‘decline’ option for the rides (which, after keeping a customer waiting for 90 minutes, seemed like the decent thing to do), he clicked ‘accept’ and turned back toward the airport. Additional passengers also arrived and he accepted those, as well. He sheepishly told me, «I have to stop quickly at the airport.»
We spent another 30 minutes circling the airport, picking up another FIVE passengers. (At this point, it had been more than TWO HOURS since clearing customs and I was still circling the airport.)
After a 12-​hour international flight, this was the last thing I had patience for.
We finally left the airport; after all the other stops, it took them over THREE HOURS to get me to my hotel. This was all made worse by the lying of the driver, the lack of decency of taking me to the hotel after I’d already waited for them for 90 minutes and the complete refusal to take responsibility.
In my experience, this business was dishonest, poorly managed, unreliable and totally unacceptable.
Next time, I’ll take the bus that was waiting outside the terminal that goes straight to the center of Paris and take an über to my hotel from there.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Wonderful experience. We had a private van, as we had 8 people. They were waiting for us coming out of baggage. Prompt and courteous service. On the return trip, they were timely, and also excellent service.

I’ve taken SuperShuttle in Paris twice before to go to the airport, and both times were professional and satisfactory. This time I took the shuttle going home from the airport, and the experience was so bad that I will never ride with SuperShuttle France again.
My plane landed at 6:30 am, and I ended up waiting over an hour after customs for the Supershuttle. I did not see my chauffeur, but a lady in a SuperShuttle vest told me to wait outside, and there would be a shuttle approximately every 15 minutes.
After calling the customer service number repeatedly and only getting a busy voice message, I finally see a guy holding an iPad whom I overheard saying the word SuperShuttle. He was explaining to a person on my same flight about how we were suppose to wait inside for him — making it seem like it was our fault.
Honestly, I think they just delayed our pickup so that they could herd more people on the bus from a later flight. Efficiency over quality of service.
We finally got on the bus, and the driver did not know his way around the city and simply used the navigation. He drove across Paris twice when he was literally 15 minutes from my apartment and could have dropped me off.
I didn’t get home until 11 am. Basically, 4 hours wasted after an exhausting flight due to SuperShuttle. Never again. I will warn everyone I know about the poor treatment they’ll receive if they choose to do business with Supershuttle France.

I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about? My travel companion and I booked 2 reservations online to be picked up and taken to CDG airport and Orly airport Sunday morning. Both shuttles arrived before schedule and delivered us to the airports well ahead of our flights with only one stop each. The drivers were very professional and both spoke English. Would definitely use this service again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY — I confirmed my pickup to CDG in Paris the day before, Sept. 30, 2014. At 20-​minutes after my 9:00 am pickup time on Oct. 1 they canceled me due to «technical difficulties». They refused to pay for a taxi, 57 Euros plus tip to CDG. Terrible company. Avoid at all costs. Check with your hotel for a reliable shuttle.

Booked the shuttle at the information desk at CDG and went to the Disney desk as instructed, but couldn’t really find where the shuttle was. He showed up a few minutes later outside holding up an iPad with my name. Excellent service and the guy was very helpful. Would definitely use them again. Don’t know why there are so many negative reviews, perhaps because those people are booking online.

Never showed up. Called their 24 hour line. Like said in previous review it is only a recorded line that repeats endlessly, no person. Called the US customer service which was also not great but they at least cancelled and refunded me. I then cancelled the return. Price I originally paid was € 43 for two persons in shared vehicle. Took cab instead as we had 4 heavy bags. Price was € 42,10 plus € 1 per bag. Much happier with cab as it turns out. Don’t use these guys.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. Does not even warrant one star. Do not use this company. They never showed up at the airport when we arrived in Paris, when I called the number instructed to call there was a recording that just kept repeating itself and it went to no where no matter how many numbers I pushed and then when we called a toll number we found a recording said they were busy and hung up. We had to get a taxi from the airport. Then I emailed them and never heard from anyone so I booked other transportation arrangements and then Sunday when we are scheduled to leave they call and say they are waiting for us after not hearing from anyone. Now I have to fight to get a refund because I already paid for this with my credit card prior. I will be complaining to their corporate office as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The instructions indicate that one should call and confirm at least 48 hours ahead of time.
Although they have a 24-​hour line, I had problems reaching someone using it so I stayed up late (Midnight PST) to call them. Their phone tree provided an option for English which I chose only to reach someone who did not speak English.
I switched to e-​mail and there was another communication problem here as we emailed back and forth about dates and times. The last email they sent me was for the wrong date. I called and emailed numerous times to confirm my Sunday pickup but got no response since their weekend started.
I arrived at CDG Sunday and luckily I saw a driver holding a Super Shuttle sign right as I left customs. So I went to confirm with him but he was not expecting me. He was expecting another couple. He called in and argued a bit with someone on the phone and directed us to wait as he was expecting another couple on our same flight from SFO. After waiting for a while the other couple appeared to be a no-​show so we loaded up the van and left CDG. The driver got a little lost but we eventually made it to our hotel.
We also had problems calling and confirming our pickup from the hotel. I eventually had the hotel front desk call them and they argued a bit in French and got us a confirmation. The pick up arrived on time and made it to CDG in plenty of time even though we stopped to pick up others.
I don’t know if I’d use them again. Too much uncertainty with their phone and email communications. It leaves you wondering if you are going to get picked up.
