Staycity Serviced Apartments Gare de l’Est

This is an average hotel in an ok-​ish location. Good if you need to be close by Gare de l’Est but not much around there otherwise. My wife and I stayed here for one night during a layover and for some reason I thought it was closer to Gare du Nord but you still need to take the metro one stop. Check-​in was quick and friendly. The rooms are just ok. You have a mix of newer things like the bed (which was comfy) and the bathroom vanity but everything else was old and in need of an update. They just painted the wall a bright colour to spruce things up and it also looks good in photos. For one night it was good enough and cheaper than most other places in Paris. Don’t expect this to be a romantic getaway though. I’d recommend Staycity as a budget hotel for a quick stop, one or two nights. Any longer and you may want to be in a more convenient location to the main attractions.
