There is no way you would ever know this park existed unless you had a kid in the neighborhood and/or lived in the surrounding buildings on this remote side street. It took us two years to learn about it and only did once the parents of a child at my kid’s crèche gave us a playdate there one afternoon. Since that day we refer to the park as Valentina’s park. And it wasn’t until I added the biz on Unilocal that I thought to learn its real name. This park is a great, compact alternative to the sprawling but still packed park Villemin on the canal. There’s a slide, some jungle-y gym structure, rocking horses and a twirly thing with seats. Just enough but not too much stimulation. In the summer the park is full of parents and kids from the hood making it the«Cheers» of playgrounds as you’re sure to always find some friendly familiar faces there.
