We had been walking for miles after walking around for hours. The last hour was spent just trying to figure out how to find food. We started in an area which was filled with museums and historical buildings, but nothing to eat. We got off on the Opera Metro station and saw a bunch of shops like Zara, Mango, Hugo Boss, and more but still did not see any food. The sky immediately turned gloomy signaling the arrival of rain. As it started to sprinkle we came upon Pizza Pino, and quickly decided this was the place for us. We took a seat in their atrium seating which faces the street and literally 5 minutes later it started pouring cats and dogs. We ordered a margherita pizza and some arriabiata pasta along with some red wine. Everything was ok, but nothing to write home about. They had a strong internet connection from a place nearby which kept us there longer than most places and also resulted in a couple extra glasses of red wine. If you’re hungry and in the area, stop in to eat some pizza and do some people watching.

Hey I appreciate a place thats open late and a good destination when you’ve got the munchies after a night of drinking or just cuz your just plain still hungry. Anyway, ordered pizza Marguerita and service was good enough that the waiter had them slice it in half for us without us even asking. Bottle of wine was very reasonable and the pizza hit the spot! It wasn’t like pizza from Italy but hey I’m an American eating in Paris craving Italian pizza– so Whatever!

There are a lot of options to dine in this area. This is not the best place, but I am sure it is not the worst. The place has ample space, the food comes out quickly and two pizzas and wine cost a total of 34 euros. Nothing was terrible with the place. It fit our need for the night. Good for large groups. TIP: A lot of the reviews of this place are negative, so I would suggest sticking with the pizza. it is hard to mess that up.

Basic restaurant where you can get your food quickly for a fair price so don’t expect miracles.

We were walking near our hotel, and decided we wanted pizza. So we went into the second pizza joint we saw(the first being Pizza Hut). We should have checked Unilocal first. We ordered the Tagliatelles Carbonara and the Pizza Marguerite. We also ordered water, at which point the waiter laughed at us. The food came out quickly. I wish it had never come at all. The Tagliatelles Carbonara was overcooked linguine with congealed cream sauce and chunks of bland ham. There was little flavor to the dish, except grease. It was at this point that we wondered whether we had wandered into the French version of Olive Garden. The Pizza Marguerite most closely resembled pizza at my college cafeteria, which is not a compliment. Bland cheese, bland sauce, bland crust. Sad to say, but Pizza Hut would’ve been better. We felt very heavy afterwards from all of the grease. The only saving grace was that the two dishes only cost 20 euros combined. However, it’s 20 euros more than you should spend there.
