The best bakery in Paris!!! This is not a «main street» recommendation., it’s more a secret of the locals. Baked goods: It is difficult to adequately describe words the delight of a crispy baguette crust, crumbling in your mouth and releasing warmth and aromas. Or the perfect balance, of creamy and crunchy, sweet and sour, that so many of their pastries have. Best in the world IMHO: baguette tradition, pain of chocolat, eclaires, pain aux raisins, even the plain croissant is world class Location: Even in many Parisian bakeries, the goods are delivered from other facilities, the bread is never truly«hot from the oven» or monitored by the original baker/founder. Martin is unique: situated in a narrow alley on the charming and picturesque Isle St Louis, this is the ultimate bakery boutique, the owner still leaves upstairs. Because it’s off the touristy areas,. I have never found a line. Price: And finally, despite being located in one of the most expensive the neighborhoods in Paris, it is even cheaper than most other bakeries. Order a lot, take a bunch to go, actually, now that I think about it, bring a back pack and mail me some stuff, PM me for the address :-)
