We had 4 different things on the menu and they we’re all superb. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good place to stop on the way to the Louvre as my party did. They had a nice full breakfast that included crepes, bread/jam, orange juice, coffee, sausage, egg and ham. It was yummy. Service was efficient.

A nice spot for lunch in between museum hopping. Right next door to the d’Orsay, and enjoy route to the Louvre. We ordered the escargot and a cheeseburger with fries. The escargot arrived, and our noses were filled with the delicious aroma of garlic butter. The escargot were a tad overcooked though. The cheeseburger was pretty standard, as were the fries. The service was friendly but very slow. We had to ask 3 different people 5 times for our check. The table next to us also had the same problem. Pro-tip: ask for your check before you’re even done eating your final course :)

Had a great meal here with my traveling friends. The French onion soup is sweeter and less soupy, but just as good as expected. My friend really enjoyed his chicken entrée, covered in a sort of plum/pumpkin sauce. My salmon entrée was amazing, the sauce is sweet. The best though was the staff who were incredibly friendly and let us pay our bills separately without any hassle! A great french experience very close to the Seine.

Our favorite meal in Paris! We started off with some snails, which were delicious. Our main courses consisted of their Spaghetti Carbonara and the Steak Frites. I still think about this Carbonara. It was incredible! The steak comes with bearnaise sauce(yum!) and french fries. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and conversed with us a little about California(where we are from). We will be back for sure!

Had a steak and fries. Asked for medium and it came out very rare. Service was nothing to write about, and in this area there are too many other choices for me to bother trying them again.

Back in Paris and since this place is so close to our hotel and it was pouring rain, we thought we would give it another try. We were hopeful because the waiter was a lot younger than the waiters we had last year. Unfortunately, he was very aloof and not at all helpful, actually kind of an arrogant dick. The food was about the same but maybe down a notch from last year. the spaghetti bolognese wasnt fresh, it was obviously heated in a microwave because the top part of the dish was barely warm and it was extremely hot on the bottom. I think we are done with this place for good.

Spent a week in Paris. Stayed in an apartment not far from this restaurant. In a city as large and offering so many options, it’s rare to visit the same restaurant twice. But my group of 7 found ourselves here on two occasions. Our first visit was after a long day of sights, walking and soaking up all that is Paris. We were on our way home and found ourselves at Le Terminus. I was immediately intrigued by the name… give that I’m from Atlanta and that’s the original name of our city, Terminus. Never got the story behind the name, but it really didn’t matter at the moment. It was all about the food, environment, and service. And these folks had it all going on. Nice space, just the right lighting, not too small, not too big. Great menu and we quickly learned, great service! On my first trip, we had an appetizer(called Entrée there) of pork cold cuts, pâté, cheeses, etc. All very tasty. I then had the entrecôte(steak) with frites(fries). Also very tasty. The steak was seasoned strongly, which was ok for the moment. The bearnaise sauce was more of a bearnaise butter. Very rich. Afterward, I had the crème brûlée. Amazing. The sugar layer wasn’t as thick as I was lead to believe it was supposed to be in a proper crème brûlée. Definitely a treat. On our second trip, I had the escargot, lamb chops and crepes. Be careful to do the math. There is a «menu» option(pre-set price for 1 appetizer, 1 entrée, 1 desert) that isn’t always the best pricing. In one Paris restaurant, the«menu» included a glass of champagne, but we all found better pricing just ordering regular list of options. Just a great environment, great staff and service, good food and drinks. And VERY convenient. Enjoy!

My husband and I stopped in at Le Terminus for dinner. It was a very good meal and reasonably priced — a very good value. The menu is quite large. I had the salmon, which was very thin but with nice tasty crust. My husband had the Quiche Lorraine. It was a very generous portion and nicely done. The Crêpe Suzette we had for dessert was nothing special just OK. The service was very good.

Came here for breakfast a couple times. Omelets were quite good and juicy. Bread was great, coffee was good. They have the International breakfast for 16 euros which includes omelet, croissant, tartin(bread), jam, juice, coffee. Pretty good value.

Good attentive service, we had a special(roast veal au jus with scalloped potato) and a dish from the menu(salade perigourdine). Both were outstanding value for the price. The special was very generous and the salad had large quantity of smoked duck, foie gras and turkey gizzard with lots of walnut pieces. We relied on previous reviews and these were understated. The wine offerings are varied and sufficient but not extensive. A true haven from the musee

I have to say at the outset, I love Paris. It really is everything I had always thought it would be. As one earlier reviewer, Marcus D. states, «Again, it’s almost impossible to have a bad meal in Paris», I heartily agree with his sentiment, if not altogether accepting his words literally. After all, one person’s bad meal may well be another’s feast, right? Le Terminus was a pleasant, accidental discovery for us some years back, when we decided walking Paris, or at least the Arrondissement where we were, was the way we wanted to experience the place. It’s a beautiful city to wander through on foot, the smells, the noise, the food… ah yes, the food. We arrived at this little restaurant and were immediately ushered to a table by a waiter so helpful it was almost embarrassing. Think of a competent Manuel from Faulty Towers. I believe when in another country, people should try to at least have the good manners to stumble through a greeting and«thank you» in the native language; it’s amazing the response one gets when a little effort is applied. This guy was no exception to French charm after we greeted him in French and got through most of the experience in a surreal sort of English/French hybrid, which he found delightfully amusing. So, here we go: * Presentation and cleanliness: Very good. The décor is dark and ambient, lots of red and very dark browns and black. It has a bar, is well but softly lit and the overall feel is private and comfortable. There is limited outdoor seating but, unless you like literally being bumped and jostled as you try to eat, inside is far more civilised here. I don’t really enjoy having the fantastic aroma of my meal blending with various perfumes, exhaust fumes and body odour. * Food — Great. Now, I had a very familiar meal, steak, salad and fried potatoes. Pretty easy to screw up on all levels. People are fussy about all three of these things and I’m no exception. But when my plate, or should I say platter, arrived, I began to spiral into a level of diner’s excitement that there really should be some form of medication for. You know when a dish just looks so good, you just know it will taste better than it appears? This was one of those. The steak was perfectly medium-rare. It was also big enough to drape over a small hippo’s back. When I took my first mouthful, my wife laughed at the size of my grin. Happy steak-lover. The potatoes were crisp, brown on the outside and fluffier than a child’s toy inside. My salad was fresh, colourful and the dressing was home-made. It was so good I forgot my own language for a while. Good French food will do that to you. * Staff and service — Friendly, obliging and our waiter had a sense of humour. He couldn’t stop himself from watching the many attractive and stylish young women wandering by outside but he did so in such a charming way, you could easily forgive him these little lapses. Occasionally, he would get a little«Pepé Le Pew» about it but it was funny, not creepy. Just a young guy who enjoyed his job and its benefits. I hasten to add that it’s rare for me to leave a restaurant without finishing a meal, unless it’s so appalling, immediate regurgitation is both imminent and seems like more fun. I can assure you, Le Terminus will inspire nothing like this. But I simply could not finish my dessert, which was a wedge of Tarte Tatin so enormous, I could have beaten someone insensible with it. Look, this thing arrived on a dinner plate. It was arguably, the finest thing with apples and pastry I have ever shoved greedily into my mouth. But I couldn’t eat it all. If you’re in Paris’ rue du Bac, just go here; Le Terminus is one little eatery we will definitely never forget and will definitely return to again.

An ok place, very touristy. Food — 3 stars Food was quite decent, but didn’t blow us away. We had the french onion soup and the(smoked) salmon appetizer plate. The portion size was large. Service — 4 stars The waiters were very friendly and spoke perfect English. They were also quite attentive. Price — 3 stars Two appetizers, two wine came out to $ 45. Average price for similar type of establishments in similar touristy areas Atmosphere — 2 stars This restaurant is located a stone throw away from the Louvre museum. Hence it’s obvious that they cater to the international tourist population. Overall this is a fine restaurant as long as you’re ok eating at a place that’s full of, and caters to tourists. I personally like to try to sample ‘local’ establishments as much as I can and would only stop in establishments like this for a quick snack and/or drinks.

Very reasonably priced little place to stop by after visiting the Musée d’Orsay and Louvre. We went for this place as it’s a little further down Rue de Bac and not directly on the Quai Voltaire, where the cars rushing past seemed a little too hectic and loud. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated in a simple black/red/white theme. Waiters were quite friendly and happy to indulge my attempts to order in French, and of course spoke English well enough to take care of my parents. Dad had the Magret de Canard(duck), mom had a penne special, and I went for the escargot, salmon, and crêpe chocolat from the 3 course dinner menu. Food was delicious — nothing special but no complaints — and the waiters were good sports about showing us how to use the snail tongs which was a fun experience. Overall, friendly service, great location and inside feel, decent food at reasonable prices without feeling cheap. Would be happy to bring someone here again!

To quote Truman Capote, «When I think of Paris it seems to me as romantic as a flooded pissoir, as tempting as a strangled nude floating in the Seine.» Le Terminus will conjure up none of these things, but it is in the rue de Bac, which factors in Capote’s ANSWEREDPRAYERS, so that’s what made me think of it. We ate here on a cold evening, sitting in a corner drinking red wine and eating duck breast, with foie gras and escargot as appetizers — when in Paris it’s perfectly normal to eat foie gras at every meal, because it’s so damned good. The waiter was pushing the tiramisu — the pastry chef was probably looking to get rid of it and the waiter chuckled when asked(he was cool) — but it was very good, like everything else we ordered. There was some entertainment at the bar in the form of some rather risqué public display of affecton between a guy and a girl — it’s France, afterall. Again, it’s almost impossible to have a bad meal in Paris.

Great, restaurant with very good food, huge portions and friendly service. We stumbled in here during a very cold winter day and were greeted to a very warm restaurant packed with people, but still had a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is French — my first meal here was for Steak and Frites, which were very good — the streak was cooked perfectly and had some great flavors and the fries were had the right amount of crispiness on the outside and soft center. it arrived as a big portion, which I liked since I was very hungry. My second meal here was for something none French — a cheeseburger, which was actually really good — a nice, good portion of beef, seasoned to perfection on a nice bakery-fresh bun filled with fresh vegetables with a nice layer of cheese. I was really surprised by how awesome the burger was… I was really expecting something pretty good and instead got something great. This is just a block away from d’Orsay so this is an excellent lunch or dinner choice if you are in the area and want something reliable and good.
