Delicious! We had a very nice meal, the staff were attentive and polite. They handled our lack of French very well. We shared a starter that had beets and a goat cheese soufflé — really good. I had the lamb, also really good. My husband had the chicken entrée which was good but not amazing. We shared the pistachio soufflé for dessert.

As good as it gets for souffles. Every trip to Paris has to involve a stop here. I typically go with the menu set where you pick a starter, the main soufflé, and dessert. You can’t go wrong with anything here, but I can tell you I’ve had and loved the following souffles: — beef bourginon — Henry IV — chicken and mushrooms — crawfish(has a little kick with it) — all desert ones like grand marnier(they actaully leave you the bottle ;-) and chocolate Servers are attentive and responsive. Great interior. Just simply love this place.

I’m going to start by saying this place seems really great but I think I just ordered the wrong thing. Also, this place seems to be booked up a lot, so call and make a reservation(for lunch or dinner) in advance. I had the mushroom soufflé, but the meal is just a huge soufflé with lots of cream, and then a cream sauce with tiny little bits of mushroom to pour on top. It was just too much cream for me, and there was really nothing to chew. So despite it feeling like I wasn’t really eating anything, it was very heavy. My husband got the beef bourguignon soufflé, which was actually much better. The sauce had a nice deep flavor and since there was big chunks of beef in it, it felt more like a proper meal. I should have ordered this one! Dessert was the real highlight and we ordered the Grand Marnier soufflé at the chef’s recommendation. You get a really eggy soufflé, slightly crispy around the edges and dusted with a little bit of powdered sugar. You then poke holes with your fork and pour the Grand Marnier on top. They even left us with the bottle so that we could pour more on if we wanted! This was perfect – not too sweet, but a nice light flavor. All in all, service was very good and the ambiance was relaxed. The food seemed pretty good but I just wasn’t a fan of what I ordered. If you want a top-notch soufflé, I do recommend this place!

This place specializes in Soufflé, and I would say, when in France, you gotta at least eat Soufflé once. The place may seem small from the front, but they have an additional dining room in the back(seems to be for people who didn’t have a reservation)? They have a ~$ 40 euro 3 course prix fixe. But I would say, 3 courses of Souflle is ALOT of food. I made the mistake of getting that, and couldn’t even make it through the entrée. I would recommend getting either an appetizer or entrée, and a dessert. I’m a huge fan of sweet Soufflé, so that’s definitely my favorite of the evening. The thing with savory Soufflé is that they’re very rich, and I tend to start feeling sick if I eat alot of rich food. I got the tomato soup soufflé as an appetizer, and thought the amount of savory soufflé with the soup was just right. The entrée that I got, which was the crawfish soufflé, was really too much. So unless you eat 3000 calories+ a day, I would order a la carte.

Reservations a must! The place was booked solid for 2 nights when we went, so make sure you call to make a reservation. The food here is really, really good. Of course, you’ll need to get souffles, and if you can really eat a lot — and I mean A LOT — go for the tasting menu. You get three courses — an appetizer, main course, and dessert for 35 – 45 Euros. But I didn’t finish the main course or the dessert. The regular sized souffles are enormous! The appetizer of goat cheese soufflé and beets were probably my favorite. I got the seafood soufflé for the main course, and it was good, but I think a little strong of a flavor for how much soufflé there was. I would probably get something that I know I would like to eat a lot of. The desserts we tried were the chocolate soufflé(my favorite) and the grand marnier. Honestly, if you went here just for dessert, I wouldn’t blame you. Probably the best part of the meal.

Really cool experience and the soufflé’s were excellent. Especially the chicken and mushroom one which was very savory. I am taking one star off because I ordered the gran manier(Sp?) soufflé which requires that they bring the bottle and pour it on your soufflé and there were two huge flies in the bottle! Ewww. They did take that off of my check though.

Warning: any other soufflé that you may have had in the states is a total imposter and it should not be trusted. If you want to come face to face with the best soufflés that you will undoubtedly ever encounter in this lifetime then look no further than the one and only Le Soufflé. Here, you will get the most quintessential French experience… so when in France, do as the French do and order a soufflé right here, right now. Because soufflés are a French cuisine, I’m sure that other restaurants in Paris offer them, but without even trying a soufflé elsewhere, I can tell you that if you want the best of the best then you have to come here. Making a soufflé as wonderful as Le Soufflé is truly an art form. No matter which soufflé you order, either savory or sweet or both, I think it is safe to say that you will be astounded by how perfectly fluffy they are. They looked amazing, but tasted 100x better. Out of all the possible soufflés that you could order my fiancé and I decided to try the best of both worlds — sweet and savory. We got the chicken, cheese and mushroom soufflé for our«main dish» followed then by the white chocolate crème brulee soufflé for dessert. There is no explaining how phenomenal each of these were; I’m sure that you could do well by yourself in ordering any of the savory soufflés, but if you want to pick a winner for dessert then white chocolate crème brulee is a MUST. The soufflés came out hot — obviously they’d just been taken out of the oven, and what was great that we didn’t have to wait too long for any of it. Now, obviously you’re probably making the trek to Le Soufflé for the soufflés(duh!), but to add a little razzle to your dazzle you should also get the French Onion Soup. Out of the several French Onion soups that I had while in Paris this was my favorite. This particular one is filled to the brim with cheese and the flavor is spot-on. Also, you get to enjoy the complimentary bread and butter… also the best bread and butter I had in Paris. You probably think I’m kidding, but I’m not. Everything that went from the spoon to our mouths was phenomenally good. The service was wonderful as well, with everything being brought out in such a timely manner. When we had entered Le Soufflé, the front of the restaurant was packed, but our waiter brought us to the back room which has more of a private dining feel. If possible, I would actually ask to be seated back there as it was a little quieter, and even a little bit more intimate. Despite being in the back of the restaurant we weren’t forgotten about at all so that was very welcome. Although we were lucky enough to get seated right away, it seems to be quite the popular place for dinner so it would be advisable to get there when they open or to make a reservation, if possible. Finally, some of the soufflés can be a bit pricey, but that is only if you order the ones with crazy ingredients in it. You don’t have to go crazy to have a nice meal here. There is a pre-fixed menu item that includes an appetizer, savory soufflé and sweet soufflé, but the menu items you can choose from are limited. It may actually be a better choice to forego the prefixed menu and order the soufflés of you want — it isn’t to terribly expensive, especially if you split an appetizer and a couple soufflés between yourself and significant other. Go get your soufflé on. It is so delicious!

One of the BEST meals I had in Paris!!! My husband & I stop in for lunch, we actually made a special trip to go to it(it was closed the day we visited the Lourve) but had heard great things about it & in the States you just don’t get good Soufflés so put it on your MUST eat at list.

We love soufflé, so had to try this place when we happened to walk by. The place was packed when we walked by, so we went in to make a reservation for two nights later. We had the scallops with asparagus and chicken with mini-cheese soufflé, which were both excellent. Of course we saved room for dessert, and had the crème brulee white chocolate soufflé. It was delicious. Not too sweet and melted in your mouth. The service was top notch and friendly(even though we didn’t speak French). I would definitely come back to this place the next time we are in Paris(hopefully soon).

Can’t even begin to express how incredible my experience was here! The staff was beyond great! They were so kind & helpful. And the food… where do I begin?! I started with the asparagus soufflé– the sauce that came with it was divine! Wasn’t crazy about the asparagus on the side. Main course– the chicken with tarragon sauce and Henry VI soufflé. The soufflé with chicken sauce was the star! And for dessert– the chocolate soufflé. This was HUGE!!! 2 – 3 people could’ve sassily shared. It was just enough chocolate without being too sweet & rich! Excellent meal overall! Will come back next time in Paris!

When staying in Paris, my mom and I decided to check this place out but they were unfortunately closed for holiday when we got there. Luckily, I came back to Paris just a few weeks later and I remembered wanting to try this place out(sorry mom). I didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. They almost turned me away before they realized they could squeeze me in because of a cancelled reservation. They led me to a back room where coincidently was where they had placed all the loud american tourists — I assume the reason was so that the English speaking patrons could be served by waiters who spoke more English. But it was definitely louder in the back area than it was in the front. I tried the Suprême de poulet à l’estragon & mini-soufflé Henri IV, which was the Chicken breast with tarragon sauce & mini Henri IV soufflé. My server recommended a red wine which was excellent and when the dish arrived, he explained all the components and broke the soufflé and added the filling. The food was superb! It was very filling but I decided that I had to try a dessert soufflé as well. I got the Grand Marnier one, which could definitely be shared by two people especially after eating a full meal. The server drizzled some grand marnier on top for me and then also left the bottle on the table — giving you the option to add as much as you prefer when you want to. It was boozy and fluffy and a perfect end to a great meal.

Great atmosphere! We were put in a very private corner(which I loved). The staff was very friendly and the food was presented beautifully. My only complaint was it was a lot of the same taste. The French onion soup was amazing though and I would still recommend going if you’ve never had a soufflé before!

Honestly I didn’t know what to expect when my mum booked a reservation for my family while we were in Paris a while back. If you love soufflés this is really the best place for you. You can have a soufflé starter, soufflé main and soufflé dessert. SOWILD. Everything is amazing quality too so its certainly worth the price. It can get crowded though so be sure to book in advance.

Had a romantic dinner here with my girlfriend. Her soufflé was topped with pieces of a used metal scouring pad. The staff did not seem at all surprised or embarrassed by this, and in fact said it was«not a big deal», and walked away like she should continue eating it. Dude, a € 30 soufflé shouldn’t have a used sponge inside it. We asked to speak with the manager. He begrudgingly offered to remove the price for the scouring-pad-soufflé, leaving the rest of the bill. The manager argued that this was reasonable, saying«you already ate some of the meal». That’s exactly the problem…

Loved Le Soufflé! If anything, you must come here for a dessert soufflé, the chocolate one was TODIE for. The savory soufflé was good(beef bourguignon), but did not come with as much of the actual filling; meaning the soufflé to filling ratio was unbalanced in my opinion, but I’m only a novice soufflé consumer. A must try establishment for a dessert soufflé while in Paris! *Staff was very lovely also, and did their best for our lack of French

Soufflé heaven. Had an amazing lunch on my first day in Paris. We had several recommendations to dine here, and decided to indulge a little. This quaint restaurant is just steps away from the Tuleries. We arrived and were seated immediately. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They allowed me to practice my French, but were more than willing to speak English to patrons. The soufflé was excellent. We had the poulet with the mini soufflé, onion soup and a dessert soufflé(vanilla, raisins and rum) that was to die for. For added measure, the rum bottle was left on the table in case we wanted to pour some more. Along with our glasses of Kir Royal, this restaurant was a lovely experience. Can’t wait to come back!

This was probably the fanciest place we went to on our trip but it was pretty great. We came here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. Once we were seated, our waiter came by and was perfectly polite. They had pre-fixe menus but since it was just lunch, we decided on a la carte instead. We got the escargots to start, my boyfriend ordered the salmon with veggies and a mini spinach soufflé and I got the chicken and mushroom soufflé. Everything was pretty delicious although I expected more from the escargots. It was the perfect amount of food and with a bottle of wine, it was great! I would recommend this restaurant and would want to come back to try another soufflé when I visit Paris again.

If you like souffles or are curious about trying them then hit this place up. I’d recommend going ala carte though or having just one member of the party doing the pre fixe because it’s a lot of food! The cheese soufflé appetizer and the beef soufflé entrée were the best. My hazelnut dessert soufflé was pretty darn good too! But I was just so stuffed at the end and a little bit tired of soufflé that it was difficult to enjoy. Service was great, cute little restaurant, seems like mostly tourists. Not a must go to restaurant but fun if you want to try something different!

In Paris, there’s a ton of things to see, people to meet and things to eat. However le soufflé takes the umm cake?!? Ok bad joke. This place is absolutely perfect. It’s intimate, relaxed with great service and the food, let’s just say magnifique! As you may already guess le soufflé specializes in soufflé! It’s not the new world french cooking with any frills. It is in fact, real deal classic cuisine that will knock your socks off. I had the mushroom soufflé. It was earthy and rich. They usually pour a mushroom sauce into it. I suggest you ask them no to, and do it yourself. For dessert I asked for a chocolate soufflé that was chocolate heaven. One tip, make sure to have reservations beforehand as walk ins are not guaranteed a seat because of their high demand. Bön apetit

A friend in the States recommended that we tried this soufflé restaurant. After a long day the Louvre, we searched out this little gem. It’s a short walk from the Louvre. We have never had proper soufflés before. The place is wonderfully decorated. They were so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. We tried the lunch samplers. Everything was just wonderful. Food came out promptly, and food was hot. The flavors were superb. My husband tried the Henry IV chicken soufflé and I tried the beef soufflé. They were both awesome. The dessert soufflés were yummy. Too bad they are in Paris and we live in California. If you are in Paris, this is must stop place. And best of all, it’s a restaurant with no outside seating! That means no smokers sitting in the front of the restaurant, blowing second hand smoke into the restaurant, and ruining the clean air atmosphere during your lunch or dinner.

After a busy day touring the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre, Le Soufflé was a welcomed surprise to find them still serving lunch at 3pm. We were famished with exhausted feet. The atmosphere of the dining room is set in soft yellow with rich wood accents and thoughtful paintings with small bright flowers on each table. The service was outstanding. They’re somewhat hidden down a less traveled street that runs parallel to Rue de Rivoli, but they are well worth looking for. We both selected the 46 € 3 course tasting menu. I had no idea what to expect, as I had never tried a proper soufflé before. I’m not sure if this is classified as fine dining, but I certainly think it should be. We started by ordering a bottle of Domaine de la Creuxe Noire Pouilly-Fuissé, which arrived promptly and placed on ice. There were 4 choices for the 1st course tasting plates. Dave chose tomato & mozarella and I opted for the beetroot & goat cheese. This dish was plated beautifully with a nice variety of textures and colors. The flavor pairings were a fantastic earthly, savory mix. One of the best 1st course dishes I’ve ever enjoyed, quite the food adventure with 4 different items on the plate all sharing the same flavor profile in unique presentations. For our main courses, Dave had the Chicken breast in tarragon sauce & mini Henry IV soufflé and I ordered the Provence style grilled scallops. Both were amazing, but note that the chicken dish was a large portion size. We were pretty full by the time dessert came, but it was part of our 3 course menu, so we had to make an effort. Dave had the iced salty caramel soufflé and I had the chocolate soufflé with hot chocolate sauce poured on top. Everything was wonderful, and I’m now officially a soufflé fan.

This is a congested little restaurant that specializes in, you guessed it, soufflés. It didnt seem cooked so well. Too moist still. The appetizer cheese soufflé was nice. But as appetizing as the dessert soufflés seem, they didnt taste very good. The service was not so friendly. I would recommend this place for a quick stop by at lunch for a savoury soufflé(a main or appetizer soufflé), but not for a three course meal. By the way if you don’t want to make a reservation, make sure that you show up right when they’re opening so that you can get a seat. Otherwise within the first half an hour of opening, they fill up really fast.

Our family of five really enjoyed Le Soufflé… what a fun, unusual experience! Charming little restaurant with great, attentive service and delicious food. A must visit if you are in Paris and want a very French experience(and you enjoy soufflé)! It’s a small, quaint room full of Parisian style, without any pretension. Recommend making a reservation in advance. We dined with our kids(11, 9 and 6) for lunch… and we all loved it. We ordered the lunch special — a savory soufflé and a dessert soufflé both of which were awesome. Our favorites included the following souffles: spinach, salmon and cheese, plain cheese, vanilla with almonds, and grand marnier. The soufflé presentatio is awesome… the are so tall, light, airy, creamy, with a wonderful crust on top. Great experience… wonderful food and service.

I love this restaurant. It’s a charming little place with lovely service and delicious food. It’s the type of restaurant that I don’t think exists anywhere but Paris. It’s a small, well appointed room(lovely paintings of eggs adorn it) with typical Parisian style and lack of pretension(many of you will laugh at that comment, the rest of you will understand). We stopped in with our kids(14 and 12) for lunch immediately after arriving for a week in Paris. It was a great place to start off a week of French dining. We ordered the lunch special — a savory soufflé and a dessert soufflé both of which were awesome. The kids almost swooned when the first souffles arrived they were so tall. Light, airy, creamy, with a wonderful crust on top. We lucked out on dessert as the special of the day was pistachio soufflé with chocolate sauce. This was amazing — the flavor and texture were sublime and the chocolate sauce was amazing — dark and rich. We had such a great meal we are planning to go again before we leave.

A essayer !
