Service peu professionnel et pas très agréable. Nourriture très moyenne. Tables sales… Je n’y retournerais pas.

A convenient place, apparently open 24 hours a day, and nearby Place de Clichy metro station, Le Moncery sits on Blvd de Batignolles. The boulevard is an energetic spot and has supermarkets, restaurants, brasseries and bakeries, The food here is politely provided. Come here because it’s convenient, and you’re tired, and you have jet lag, and because your feet are killing you. Large menu, no particular specialties, a bit pricey for the quality. We had the grilled kabob and steak hache. It was served with tasty fries and good bread. I’d say the meat was the weak point. 3 stars — some of the staff is indifferent but others are charming and helpful. Grab a table on the sidewalk and try to blend in. You won’t of course, but it’s the challenge of every American tourist in Paris.

Great service! My huge group of friends(a bunch of Americans) decided to go to this restaurant and distinctly remember having such great service. They loved our loud group and was even joking around with us too. For French people, they weren’t uptight about our loud dining at all. Just to point out, we weren’t obnoxious we were just very happy. The food was great too and I loved how they really gave us recommendations and made sure we were ordering something that we would really like. I guess it helps that they speak English and don’t mind speaking English at all. I think this might be because they are Moroccan or something. Anyway, I highly recommend it!

The first day we arrived in Paris, some of us were HUNGRY! It was still early(around 10:30am) so everything was closed. We walked a few blocks away from our hotel and we found Le Moncey open! I got the petit dejeuner, a typical french breakfast which consisted of Croissant, Coffee and orange juice. My friends who were a bit more hungry than I was ordered the brunch menu which included a delicious looking omelet~ It was nice to sit outside and have a French breakfast :) Great way to start Paris!

It was near midnight and we hadn’t eaten. Quite honestly, this was close to where we were staying and open 24 hours, that was our deciding factor. Like an old fashioned American diner, this brasserie had a wide ranging menu available at any hour of the day. French onion soup— I’d consider myself a connoisseur— this was some of the best I’d ever had. As appropriate for Americans on a midnight diner run we ordered burgers— yum. And then we topped off the meal with, my heart skips a beat as I say, phenomenal cassis sorbet. It was one of the most impressive surprises in a while. Will definitely return.

rude service melant tutoiement malvenu et incapacite notoire. Mauvaise surprise.

I visited this typical French restaurant with a French colleague. The onion soup was large and tasty, but the toast floating on top was burned. I had cod á la Provence as an entrée and liked it very much. As dessert, I took the Norman Hole(sorbet floating in Calvados). An English menu is available, but I did not need it.
