Came with me wife to have a dinner, as it’s allegedly open until 9 pm, but only drinks available Very disappointing

Having beer at Happy Hour right now. Pretty comfy place. But, be advised, the kitchen is CLOSED at night. I came looking forward to food at 6pm, but I guess beer is fine. Gonna look for food elsewhere…

After reading the recommendations, I was very disappointed after dining at this restaurant. I wanted my last meal in Paris to be special. However, after enquiring about the set menu(entrée and main or main and dessert), I was provided with a menu that looked like typical American food — pumpkin soup, steak with fries, pasta, burgers, and poached eggs. The only thing that looked French on the menu was foie gras and the French onion soup. When I enquired about the fish, I was told its cooked the French way. Here’s what I didn’t get. 1. complimentary bread. 2. Foie gras that didn’t taste like canned pâté 3. French style cooked fish. I received battered fish in a very very sweet sauce. If I wanted battered fish, I would wait until I got to Perth and have fish and chips for half the price. Lacking in flavour. Lacking in being authentic French. Awful. I think the only thing French about this restaurant is the wait staff. After I ordered, I was completely ignored, never once asked if I needed anything or whether everything was ok. Food was plopped on my table hurriedly.

This is such a gem. Super small place but the food is quick and delicious. Had the set menu and it was 20 euros for 3 very generous courses. Specifically, I had the egg mollet, penne and a caramel dessert. The hubs had the terrine and cod dish which again was amazing. Very friendly staff and efficient! Great for a little Parisian recharge between museums and shopping.

Arrived at the restaurant at 5PM when the kitchen was closing. Jerome the owner graciously suggested some great alternatives near Rue Cler where we were staying. He was so helpful and friendly that we went back the next day for lunch and were glad we did. The food was excellent. Pretty much everything is homemade and delicious. I think Jerome loves food and people and that’s a good thing in the restaurant business.

The waiter is very nice and the sunshine is splendid. I love the environment. The steak is very good as well. It’s the best food I have ever ate in Paris

Really good. The guy that works there(maybe the owner… not sure) is really attentive and helpful. The food is great. I had homemade pâté, salmon, and café gormond. Everything was really good. The menu is small but for me that is a good thing, that means they only make a small amount of things but do it right. I will be sure to visit this place again on another one of my trips to Paris.

A essayer!
