This hotel was simply great… there are many things that can be said to describe this hotel but I feel the best word to use would be «Quaint»…it’s a small hotel(has the feel of a mom-and-pop hotel)…and it definitely is worth the money… I knew from my experience in Europe that I shouldn’t expect a sprawling space in most European hotels… this hotel fits that bill… the rooms are small, there is no way around it… however, where the hotel lacks in space, it more than makes up for it in cleanliness, comfort, and its location… The breakfast provided is continental by European standards, and was more than enough… baguette, croissant(both plain and chocolate), cheese, jams, butter, yogurt, cereal, coffee, orange juice… seriously enough and delicious!.. and I’m a pretty big guy… there’s also an EXCELLENT café just down the road from the hotel(Le Poincaré)…and the hotel is also within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower… The staff at this hotel was also just fantastic… everybody was extremely helpful and friendly… any and all questions we had, they were able to answer and even go above and beyond to help my wife and I with certain requests… There aren’t many complaints that I can give about this hotel, other than the size as I mentioned before… and maybe that the stairs are a bit difficult to maneuver(especially when drunk)…and the elevator is comically small… Don’t pass this hotel up… it’s completely worth it!

I had the task of finding an affordable, nice hotel near to Paris’ attractions. I think I did pretty well for have never been to Europe before. We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October(for about $ 150USD a night). The lobby is modern, but small like the rest of the hotel, with only 21 rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, and most spoke English well. It was about a 30 minute taxi ride from the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. About a 20 minute taxi ride to the train station also. There is a tiny elevator, so with luggage, only one at a time. The staircase is narrow and spirals, so if the elevator breaks like it did when we were there, I hope your not on the 4th floor like us, the stairs are very dark at night and use a motion detection light. You’ll get dizzy and it was difficult bringing our suitcases down on checkout, but it didn’t ruin our stay. The room was small but clean and comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time in it, we’re in Paris! The bathroom was good sized. There was a nice window that you can open and see the old buildings of Paris and the garden below. Mini bar, TV, hairdryer and safe in room. They will do laundry for you if needed, but only on weekdays. Free breakfast was included with our room. The dining area was cute. And the food offered were nice to start our day with. Yogurt, fresh breads and cheeses, along with coffee and juice. Hotel is within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and the Seine River. Many restaurants, marts, and bakeries close by also. Area seemed very safe, nice area to stay. I was very pleased and would recommend this hotel.
