We stopped off here for a coffee on the way to the Pompadou Centre(which is just around the corner). The coffee was strong, sweet, and very tasty. The waiter was, well, lovely and friendly. We sat outside in the sun, enjoying the view and watching some traffic drama unfold. It was great. Nice and relaxing. And fairly cheap too. They have a full menu and bar too — you should totally try it out :-)

This place is terrible. Do not eat here. The menu is limited; the steak was tough; the fries were soggy; the wine was bad. In retrospect we should have realized it would be bad. Our first clue should have been that, while the outdoor tables for drinks were busy, there was no one eating inside. Our second clue was that the menu had English translations. There are many better places very close by. Do not waste a meal here.

Terrasse trés agréable. Café authentique parisien sans et une cuisine trés correct pour déjeuner au croisement de la rue Rambuteau et de la rue du Temple.

I had a terrific lunch here on my last visit to Paris. It’s not fancy or famous. Just a simple café on a busy corner. It was recommended to me by a friend who lived in the Marais years ago, before it was fashionable. Very good food, reasonable prices, interesting mix of customers. And, for some reason it was the only place I managed to find a kir royal with violette liqueur, though they also offered framboise or cassis. Great place to stop for a drink or a meal, or just a coffee and some prime people watching.

cool little café right on the corner of Rue de Temple. My dad and i popped in for a café crème to get out of the rain, and there were plenty of people sitting and getting lunch, and definitely saw some tasty options. Also a conjoined Tabac, so i was able to buy cigars and postage stamps. i’ll come back next time i’m near the Pompidou centre!

une brasserie à l’angle des trois banques de la rue rambuteau. Une grandes terrasse en coude; idéal pour une pause petit déjeuner ou shopping. c’est sans prétention, un peu rétro mais comme on aime encore en trouver à Paris
