Expensive for what they offer. The coffee less than mediocre, tiny and expensive. The apple pie was old and priced incorrectly. #notcomingback

Oh, my. My husband I are fairly fluent in the ways of French civility and in restaurant French. Today those skills completely failed us. We both ordered main dish salads which – as described – sounded perfect for lunch. He ordered a chicken Caesar; the Salad Parisienne for me. My limp brown greens, soggy boiled potatoes and piles of over-marinated haricot verts(what a sad thing to do to those little beans) were drenched in a too tart bottled salad dressing. All he would say about his Caesar was«it wasn’t good.» The saving grace was great bread. No butter was offered nor was salt and pepper. We both left fully ¾ of our salads yet neither waiter not hostess seemed to notice. We ordered espresso and café noisette. They were fine. The check was 38E. We paid. I went downstairs to wash my hands and to find the toilette. It was a paid toilette. A paid toilette in a café. One more thing to note: do not sit outside on this corner. Great people watching, but the vehicular traffic is very heavy and noisy.

Stopped in here on way to Pompidou Ctr. A wonderful find. Had the cassoulet and it was fantastic. Great service and prices, considering the touristy area it is in.

We had dinner at La Station Rambuteau twice during our stay in Paris. Great food, friendly staff, prompt service. Highly recommend the Boeuf Bourguignon, the Brandade de Morue, and the Panaché(beer with lemonade, yum). We ate indoors, and the tables are somewhat close together, but isn’t that the case with most restaurants/brasseries/bistros in Paris? No problems for us.

Snappy service and decent coffee, but its catty-corner proximity from the Centre Pompidou makes a bit chaotic, especially if you want to sit outside.
