Pas du tout mon truc ! Même si cette boutique a le grand avantage d’être hyper bien située en face du Centre Pompidou, qu’on serait tenté de faire une halte pour acheter un petit cadeau à un proche, ramener un souvenir de Paris, pour les touristes… Je n’ai pas accroché !
Des oeuvres d’”art” flashy, et tape à l’oeil, pas du tout dans mes goûts, des prix plutôt élevés… Bref, vous né m’y recroiserez pas de si tôt !
Avis aux touristes, il y a tant de belles boutiques aux alentours, et pour les souvenirs artistiques, mieux vaut encore aller dans les shops des musées directement !

Tip: Do not buy the notebooks here as they are about 1 – 2 euros more expensive than elsewhere (for the same design). 4 stars for this reason.

I had been on a hunt for a piece of art for my shop for almost a year & I came upon a print on acrylic at Image in Air, it was exactly what I was looking for! I was only in Paris for two days then had an additional 10 days of travel afterwards so I knew I couldn’t bring it with me. After discussing shipment costs & agreeing on a price, I took the plunge & purchased it. Dealing with the salesman was uncomfortable but, I know they deal with many tourists…
I was nervous & worried about receiving it safely, the right product, the right size, how long it would take etc… I was told it would take 3 days to process the order & 2 – 3 weeks to ship.
I arrived home & the package was already there! Everything was perfect!

I thought poster shops were a thing of the nineties. One still exists. Image in’ air!
Image in’ air has the best post card selection I have ever encountered. Mainly because they aren’t the cheesy kind of postcards, the ones with images from 20 years ago with bad layouts. Image in’ air has really cute illustrated postcards. I went crazy and bought about ten. They have a deal where if you buy a certain amount you get a price break. I fully recommend this sale. I also didn’t mail the cards out. I used them for artwork for my kitchen.
Image in’ air is close to Stravinsky fountain and right across from Le Musee National D’Art Moderne. It is a great shop. I don’t know how many people still buy posters but the images were beautiful and the cards! Oh the cards! Cute factor x 10!
