We stayed at Hotel Le Littre for one of the legs of our honeymoon. It was wonderful! It is conveniently located near the Metro and near a nice shopping neighborhood. The staff was extremely friendly, helping us find great restaurants nearby and answering a bunch of questions we had about how to get where we needed to go. They also have a wonderful breakfast buffet! Finally, they gave us some wonderful complimentary champagne and macaroons to help us celebrate our honeymoon: what a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Delightful experience here! I would come back in a heartbeat. This isn’t your typical Hilton or Marriott. For one, Hotel Le Littre is essentially a French hotel whose owners are French. They seem to serve international tourists and some French natives traveling from other cities to Paris. It’s a smaller hotel than most major chains, which I think is one reason the service felt more attentive. Francois and the front desk team are stellar. They seem to know everyone in the hotel. LOCATION: Convenient location near Luxembourg garden in the 6th arrondissement. Close to Montparnasse-Bievenue station(lines to almost anywhere) and St-Placide. Walking distance to Saint Germain des Pres and the Latin quarters. SERVICE: Top-notch. Here’s why: 1) I wanted to book a nice dinner for my parents but had trouble reaching the restaurant calling international from the U.S., so I emailed the hotel to see if they could help me book. Done. 2) It rained a few days, and we were short of an umbrella. They let us borrow the umbrella at any time. 3) Towards the end of our stay, we got word of an impending taxi/train strike. Worried that our Eurostar train to London would be cancelled, we asked the hotel staff in broken Frenglish, and they were able to assure us that Eurostar trains wouldn’t be affected. They were right. COMFORT&QUIET: I slept like a baby, even on the very first night – which NEVER happens. I think the walls are super sound-proof. We also got a room that faced an inner courtyard/garden. So peaceful. Not extravagant in price or appearance, which makes this quiet little hotel a great deal! Glad to have found you, Hotel Le Littre.

For the price, this is as good as it gets. Clearly there are nicer hotels in Paris, but in terms of value for money — this is going to be hard to beat. We stayed here or a week as part of an around the world trip, and it was the best of the three hotels we stayed at in any City. The location is fantastic. It is close to a couple of Metro stations. A tip: the hotel provided map guides you to Saint-Placide station, but it is just as close to the more convenient station of Montparnasse-Bienvenue(a lot more routes go through this one). If you decide to walk from the Louvre to the hotel, it isn’t too strenous either — we even took the long way for a very nice evening walk — Rue Du Bac, Bd Saint-Germain, Bd Saint-Michel, Bd du Montparnasse. Lots to explore if you like popping into exquisite boutique shops. The staff very very friendly, and very helpful — the concierge was able to either directly procure tickets for everything, or give detailed instructions on how to get them if he couldn’t. Some of the staff didn’t speak a word of English, but were very patient with my half dozen poorly pronounced words of French. The breakfast was wonderful, and I could just sit and eat the bread all day. The bacon and eggs in the bain-marie weren’t great, but everything else was. Cold meats, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, bread, jams, pastries, and so on. I was usually completely stuffed before I even left the hotel for the day. When travelling, I usually bypass the hotel breakfast and enjoy the city cafes, but France isn’t big on lingering breakfasts. Most places seem to cater to grabbing a coffee and a croissant to go. So I tried this once, and from then on it was a regular stop before heading out. The rooms were spacious without being roomy. You could move around without hitting the furniture, or each other — but there wasn’t a lot of free space. The bathroom on the other hand was very modern, very spacious, and very clean. Something quite unexpected from older european accommodation. The elevator is very cosy, once you had a couple of people in it, it is full. The big plus was that despite being in a busy area, the room was extremely quiet, and I was in danger of sleeping through my entire holiday because it was so calm and peaceful. The local area felt safe and clean, and easy to find my way around, and I will definitely look to booking this hotel again next time I am in Paris.

Mom and I stayed here while in Paris. We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was really nice and helped keep us refreshed after a long day of walking. I like the location of this hotel. It’s on a quiet street, but in the middle of things. The Metro station is close by and there is even a bus stop nearby. You can take the bus to the Louvre for under two Euros. It takes about 5 minutes and is well worth it. The staff here is really helpful as well. They took care of Mom and I like we were queens.

Lovely little 4 star hotel conveniently located near Paris’ nightlife spots. Easy access to the Metro as well. The hotel is quite typically Parisian, being small but perfectly formed and reasonably good value for what you’re getting. Probably in the mid-4 star range, but still the room was comfortable and clean so can’t complain.
