This hotel is a great find. It’s located on a quiet street in Paris’ 17th arrondissement. The metro stop is Villiers on either the 2 or 3 trains– it’s just a short walk to get there. The hotel itself is very small, both the buildings and the rooms, but I really didn’t see that as a downside. We had a lot to see and do, so in our opinion, as long as our room was safe and clean, that’s really all that we needed. Our room had a little balcony that looked out over the street. Everything was well-taken-care-of– every nook and cranny was clean. The only two things that we didn’t love were that it was very difficult to take a shower without water ending up all over the floor, and that our large bed was two twin beds pushed together. The staff was polite and helpful. They hold onto your room key for you while you’re out so you don’t have to worry about losing it, and there’s someone at the desk to let you in even if you’re out late. There’s a small breakfast downstairs every morning that you can go to– it’s not an extra charge– and they serve coffee and croissants. This is more of an asset than we realized, because finding a place that serves coffee and breakfast early in the morning isn’t as easy as you might think in Paris. There’s also a little courtyard where you can sit, which is small but pretty and relaxing. The Wi-Fi is decent– leaps and bounds better than another hotel that we stayed at in Paris. There are a number of really fantastic restaurants within a 10 minute walk that we wouldn’t have otherwise gone to because the 17th isn’t a neighborhood that we would likely have found ourselves in were we not staying there. It’s a safe, pretty area that we really loved staying in– there are very, very few tourists, but it’s a reasonable metro ride away from anywhere that you would want to go. Montmartre is about a half-hour walk away, which is a wonderful day to spend a day. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again– it’s an ideal location if you want to have an authentic, relaxing Parisian experience without being stuck in the tourist-y hustle and bustle all day. If you don’t mind taking the Metro to go sightseeing and you’re not looking for a massive luxury hotel chain, I would really recommend staying here. The prices are also extremely fair. It’s a tiny, quiet, unassuming place that was perfect for the first leg of our French honeymoon.

I am a huge fan of this place! I went to paris on a whim and when I landed I had no where to stay. I tried Air BNB and that did not work out at all. I then looked on the app Hotels Tonight and saw this place. I was a little worried because the price was pretty low compared to everything I had seen in Paris, but I gave it a shot. I was so surprised about how great this place was! When I checked in, the man who helped us was so nice and very welcoming. PLUS it has an elevator! I have learned my lesson in Paris about walking up 5 stories with my luggage and don’t want to do it again. The room was really nice. Yes, the room was small but in Paris, I didn’t expect anything different. The room was very clean, had a nice bathroom, a TV and a refrigerator! I was actually floored about how much it had. On top of it being a great place, its in an even better location. Just down the street there is an open air market with a lot of places to eat and buy food and even better ice cream. The nearest Metro stop is about a 5 minute walk, if that, which I thought was so important. I have stayed in other parts of Paris where it would take 20 – 30 minutes to get to any of the tourist spots, but from this Metro stop it felt like we could get anywhere within 10 – 15 minutes. I really loved this place and will stay here when I come back!

Definitely a good place to stay in a unique little neighborhood with character! My husband and I came to Paris for a week for our honeymoon, and enjoyed our time at Jardin de Villiers. It’s a short walk to the metro, several metro stops away from downtown Paris and the touristy stuff, and steps away from a ton of shops and restaurants. There is little alley nearby that we walked through every morning on our way to the metro, and it’s filled with fruit and produce stands, patisseries, fromagers, and retail shops. Pretty awesome! The hotel itself is small and low-key…someone is always at the front desk, and we noticed a security guard most nights when we returned. They ask you to leave your room key at the desk on your way out, which we found strange at first, though it was nice not to have to keep track of it. The rooms are small but clean, and the wi-fi works very well! Everyone was very nice, though the maid had a habit of leaving our window open so when we returned it was often very hot or bugs had flown in. When we asked about that downstairs, we were told to talk to the maid about it… the maid we had never even seen or met. However, we did really appreciate the hotel staff’s help the day we left for the airport. We had rushed out to our airport shuttle in a hurry, leaving behind a bag full of expensive gifts, chocolates, and cheeses. The man working the front desk quickly sent a cab with the bag… a small price to pay for everything we had bought on our trip! Much much appreciated! Comfortable and convenient… I would stay here again!

A small, but very nice, hotel located in a more urban part of Paris. It’s about three blocks from the Villiers Metro station through a decent neighborhood. Good service and a good quality room, which was quiet even though it faced the street. There is a work desk with a reasonable amount of space and the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was nothing special — bread, cheese, coffee, some cold cereals. But it is included with the room, so I really shouldn’t complain. It hit the spot and it is, after all, the most important meal of the day! If I need to be in this part of town, I would absolutely stay in this hotel again.
