Un régal surtout l’escalope saltimbocca. Une déco sympa avec des bouteilles partout… à faire et refaire.

First time to Paris, stumbled upon this place. So glad we did! Highly recommend a visit. The pasta dishes are fresh and flavorful. Even the dishes that we did not order looked great! Try this out. You won’t be disappointed.

If ever I had a case of envy looking at what everyone else ordered, today would be it. All of the pasta dishes sent to the tables around me looked absolutely mouth watering, but the grilled fish special of the day was a bit of a let down and the mushroom pasta I ordered after that to try to rectify my taste buds urge for something more flavorful also fell flat as well. I’d probably come back to give it another shot since the service was friendly and prices quite reasonable by Parisian standards. I’d arrive early for lunch if traveling as a tourist since this place gets quite busy during the lunch rush hour from the offices near by.

Busy little place with people spilling out into the street and a short line waiting to be seated. The ambiance is quaint, a mix of French bistro and Italian café. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Even though they seemed considerably short staffed for the volume of customers, the waiter handled the crowd with deft multitasking ability. It did not seem as if we Waite long for anything. The food was good as was the wine selection. However the first bottle of Multipulciano was musty so I sent it back and ordered a Primitivo which was great! I ordered the Frutti di Mare was excellent and fresh as was the charcuterie appetizer. Would definitely go back if I were in the area and looking for good Italian.

This is a chain, so this place looks and feels like all the other Fuxia restaurants in Paris. However, since I’ve eaten countless times there when working nearby I feel like it deserves a review. I really like the food there. All their pastas are really perfect and their tiramisu is a killer! From time to time I’d eat their salads: all the ingredients are super fresh, the prosciutto in particular is really tasty but they put slightly too much garlic in the dressing in my opinion. Don’t hesitate to customize your pasta by adding prosciutto or bresaola, they do it happily! That was for the food. The restaurant in itself is not as great. It’s quite warm, very noisy and for some reason, I’m always feeling really uncomfortable there. Most of the times, my colleagues and I would just order to go, eat at the office and be much better off!

I love you Fuxia! Your pasta is so delicious! Your prices are totally reasonable! Your staff is super friendly! Your tiramisu is the first one that I have ever loved! If you were a person, I’d hug you.

Great service! All the pasta dishes were great but don’t hesitate to order anything off their specials menu because they are all fantastic. Food was very affordable by Paris standards.

After walking by this restaurant about 100 times, my wife and I finally decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint one bit. Fuxia is really really good, it is close to 5 stars good… but I need to come back a second time before confirming it is 5 star worthy. This resto is just off of place Victor Hugo and it always has a crowd. Seriously, every night when I walk by — it is packed. I love the atmosphere, they have nice outdoor seating, the inside is comfortable(except the chairs, they aren’t very comfortable but the place in general is) but what makes this place what it is… is the food! I had just a lasagna, but it was perfect, couldn’t have imagined it any better. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor and had an freshness aura that seemed to get stronger with every bite. My wife went with some sort of penne pasta that also hit the spot, I was too captivated by my Lasagna to try hers, but it looked good too. This place quickly became our #1 Italian spot in Paris. The price is reasonable, the atmosphere is great, the location is perfect and the food was delicious. We will be coming back to try this again. If they perform anything like they did during my first experience here, they will be upgraded to 5 stars. Definitely recommended!

Foncez !
