Fragonard Louvre

Needing to pick up a bottle of perfume for a friend, I was hoping to make a quick run in and run out after visiting the Louvre. Walking in I made a beeline for the perfumes and scanned the counter but did not see the specific bottle.
A sales team member quickly greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I showed her a picture of the bottle I needed it, and she instinctively reached under the counter to grab it. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
The pricing is pretty competitive to their online prices and thus I don’t think there is a big markup for being in the Louvre shopping area.

I thought Fragonard only sold perfume, but they had lots of cute gift items at this shop. Trinkets and gifts that back in the USA you would find mass produced for stores like Anthropologie, except here they seemed genuine. The t-​shirts had some adorable designs and drew me into the store, but they were quite expensive (over 30 Euro?). They had adorable laundry and lingerie bags for around 20 Euros. I ended up buying a beautiful individually-​crafted tote bag for just under 16 Euros, marked down from 22.
I love that the bag isn’t a tourist souvenir, but more like a genuine, unique French tote. And so affordable! It definitely turned out to be my favorite souvenir on my trip to France, and I wish I had bought more!
The store workers were nice and spoke both French and English. They even gave me a few Fragonard perfume samples with my purchase.

J’aime beaucoup cette petite boutique élégante située au Carrousel du Louvre. Dans cette boutique, je suis toujours sûre de trouver un petit cadeau d’anniversaire pour une copine ou une cousine. Fragonard propose bien sûr des produits de sa marque, mais pas seulement. En plus des parfums, cette boutique vend aussi des savons, des produits pour prendre soin du corps, des accessoires pour la maison et même des bijoux. Fragonard dégage une ambiance très chaleureuse.
