Great little restaurant! We initially wanted to go to a different restaurant but forgot that a lot of places here close from 2 – 6. We were starving and decided to go into this place just because it was convenient and the waiter spoke perfect English. And we were glad we came in here!!! Service was awesome. We forgot to ask for his name but he was so nice and attentive. Then came the food. I love fois gras and have been trying it at almost every restaurant we ate so far and would have to say the homemade one here was the best so far. My omelette with chive was also very good. We came back again for those dishes! When we return to Paris Gain, we def. Would go back here lol

wonderful little place, we are the only one here for lunch, I guess on Sunday, it’s mostly empty. the risotto with scallop is great, the burger(okay, may be not to French) is perfectly cooked. Good food, nice ambiance, fairly priced

Very nice place which I found while I was waiting for a VISA from the Congolese Embassy. Spent about 4 hours and had a nice french breakfast and lunch(daily special) later on. Employees are very friendly and I could use the Wifi thought my stay. Would recommend this place for any time of the day :-)

What a find, thanks to Unilocal!Only a block from our hotel, we strolled here for an outdoor dinner our third night in Paris and we will surely go back before we leave! The service and food were the best we’ve experienced in the city thus far and it’s a great place for kids. The escargot serving was generous and exceptional and the duck was the best and largest portion of duck I’ve ever been served!(And I’m from Long Island, where we do duck pretty well!) No regrets on this meal! In fact, we went back for a second dinner later in the week and had another fantastic experience and we took some pics the second time around! Service and food were still exceptional and still the best we’ve had our week in Paris!

Beautiful little French restaurant with warm atmosphere. We sat on the terrace and our waiter did an excellent job of recommending us items on the menu. I had the escargot to start and the magret canard(duck) for my main course. They were Both excellent. So happy I found this restaurant plus they had free wifi.

Best place I’ve eaten so far in Paris. Gorgeous décor, great ambiance and impeccable service… very friendly staff Stomach has been feeling off all trip so i opted to just share with the fiancée. Steak tartare isn’t really my thing, but hers was excellently seasoned. Frites were the best yet that I’ve had in Paris. She described her chocolate lava cake as divine. Bottom line: a welcome break from the over-priced tourist traps with the typical Parisian attitude. Finally starting to relax 5 days into our trip :)

Looking for an early dinner on a Sunday evening after arriving from the States, on a business trip, alone, and jet-lagged. Food was good, but the service was better than I have ever experienced in Paris, even(maybe especially?) at 5-star restaurants. Granted it wasn’t busy, but you still don’t often get serivce in a Paris restaurant that you’d describe as friendly and attentive, and this was. The menu had good choices if you’re looking for traditional, or something lighter than traditional fare(I had onion soup, sea bass, and crepes suzette). The wait staff anticipated my every need, and was as happy to do so in English as in French. Nothing in this neighborhood is cheap, but at least there’s a place with decent food and friendly service!

Made several visits here during my Paris stay. Service is very good. Price was also reasonable. They have a wide variety of french cuisine. The cheese platter is wonderful. For lunch I had a tomato/mozzarella salad with a balsamic dressing. Very refreshing. Great people watching also.

Ok this was one of my favorite restaurants while visiting in Paris. Everyone said how expensive dinners were but they must have not come here. The prices were very reasonable and the food was very tasty. I had veal, escargo and duck here and loved it. I had escargo at a very expensive restaurant and this place served double the amount, had the same exact taste, but the shells were smaller. I was very happy with this. The service was also good but as always I strongly suggest speaking French first. They can get very busy during lunch since lots of the business folks around here stop by. We found this place after the Spain football game. The first place we stopped at we spoke English and they told us no so one block later we found this place which was still serving. We came back a few days later for lunch. It is somewhat out of the way but they have a huge selection of plates and from what I can tell it tastes just as good as the very expensive restaurant in Place Dauphine that we went to.

This was the worst place that we dined on our entire European Vacation. The wine tasted watered, the food was a joke and the staff was rude beyond description. Which is saying a lot considering that most people in Paris are rude. If you are from another country skip this place. Really really bad.

We order sparkling mineral water and some decent red house wine to start, which is delivered with delicious crusty bread. I’m not quite ready to jump in to the world of escargot, foie gras, and various seafood, so I opt for the Travers de porc(pork ribs). They arrive, two very meaty slabs(about a half rack total), slathered in a savory gravy, sprinkled with diced tomatoes and accompanied by a mound of jasmine-infused rice. The ribs slide off the bone, each section thick cut and tender, though not overcooked. Mixed with the gravy, the rice offers a sweet and redolent counterpoint to the deep tones of the meat. It may not be the norm for French diners, but I clean my plate very quickly. I can see myself ordering this meal every day for the entire vacation! My appetite is a little shaky since the body is on another time zone. Despite that, I opt to try the crème brulée for dessert, with a café(pretty much an espresso). Surprisingly, the dish is a lot less buttery tasting than the brulée I’m used to in the states. You would think the French would add more butter! Perhaps they are just better at making it? At any rate, I finish every silky smooth spoonful, delighting in the way the candied orange peels melt on my tongue. I wash it all down with the hot coffee. As we pay our bill and watch the friendly waitress flirt with some locals(who puff deeply on French cigarettes and check their iPhones), it feels like we’ve experienced the real Paris for the first time. The slow walk back to our hotel, while the stars shine benevolently above, is very pleasant with the strong taste of good food still in our mouths.
