This was our last meal in Paris, and it was a delightful experience. Great ambiance. Food was decent, their express meals are a good price.

This place is awesome based on value, service, food quality, atmosphere, and super friendly staff. It’s such a comfortable environment! This place was truly great to pop in and have a really nice dinner. Our experience was so good we went back again. Super friendly staff who is understanding of touristy travelers who are hungry! The second day we went we were greeted like regulars and we saw the door man hugging tourists and people who I assume come back for the same reasons we did and will. My wife is super picky and when we walked up a gentleman explained the options outside and eased her hesitation. They offer a three course dinner at a super value of around 18 euros. Day 1 meals wife– app: gallett(ham cheese potato crêpe Very good) I had frogs legs(fried with a salad OK kind of bland) Main Dish — wife had lamb and potatoes(very tasty slice of lamb and mashed potatoes) I had steak and fries(MMMMM simple but good) desert — wife chocolate cake with ice cream which was great and I had a cheese plate. The second time we went my wife had a large piece of lamb chop with vegetables and I did the 3 courses again. This time I went with app– thinly sliced salmon with olive oil and dill that comes with a pancake like bread(delicious) main-fishermans pot. This was so good. If you enjoy sea food get this! It literally cooks in a pot at the table. Dipping the bread in the tomatoey sauce was so good. A hearty stew with fish and shrimp. We had a great bottle of wine and cut loose for a couple hours. The place was full and I heard a lot of French. I normally like to see what they are ordering because they are locals. I saw lots of fondues, soups, and a stone that was cooking meat. In a long winded way just come in and try this place!

Food is delicious and affordable especially in popular St. Germain area. Friendly, attentive service, cozy décor and wide variety of menu selections. We had the tasty lamb shank and chicken in mustard sauce, both good portions, fresh and full of flavor. Also enjoyed escargot and vegetable soup as appetizers. Plenty full but make room for amazing dessert: pear/raspberry sorbet and awesome warm apple crumb & vanilla bean ice cream. Highly recommended and we will be returning very soon.

Best meal in Paris. My wife, 2 boys and I went out for dinner at the Chalet Gregoire. Everyone’s meal was excellent. My son had a steak that he gobbled down he was so thrilled, he kept going on and on about how wonderful it was. I had fish which was also excellent. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, the prices were excellent, by Paris standards. On the whole it was a wonderful meal and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with children.

Wonderful meal and great prices. Highly recommend this place. The Tartiflette et da salade was amazing. As was the Tiramisu.

A fantastic meal with delightful service. We chit chatted with the waiter as we perused the menu outside. The«entrée + plate + dessert» for 21 € was a steal, and the waiter’s cheery attitude were enough for us. The food was delicious– especially the Tartiflette et sa salade! Finish it off with the tiramisu

Chalet Gregoire is a charming little spot with excellent food., friendly service, and no pretense. The food is hearty, but perfectly prepared. After going to 58 Tour Eiffel last night, we found Chalet Gregoire refreshing. My wife had duck confit and I had the boeuf bourguignon. The onion soup felt warm and tasty on a cool Christmas day. Good wine, espresso, and desserts for a reasonable price. Thank you for the fine experience.

Food was enjoyable for an inexpensive fixed priced menu. Loved the foie gras and jam of figs. Duck breast with peaches and honey delicious. The 3 chocolat desert was divine. Servers were also friendly. Place gets busy rather quickly for lunch. Arrive early or prepare to wait.

This was in the same street as the crêpe place we were supposed to go originally but we were tired and really hungry from our long flight so we decided this place will be more filling. For the price for a 3 course lunch this place is not bad especially in the expensive St. Germaine area. For appetizers we had the crepes and onion tart and beef buorginion and calamari in tomato sauce for our entrees. For desserts, we had the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. The beef buorginion was pretty good, very flavorful and the beef was very tender. Everything else was okay. The portions were pretty decent and we were definitely full after our meal.

Great european charm and armosphere. English menu with great english speaking servers. Great cheese fondue. Service is lacking bc its very busy. But this is typical in europe. I was walking around the germaine area and alot of places had pubs or drink menus only. I was hungry so we decided on this place bc it offered fondues! We were seated promptly but were not given menus… people seated after us got them first… mmmm a bit annoying. But it was busy. We were seated in an wooden european atmosphere. Cozy and not pretentious. Meals looked large but the sides were unappetizing to me as I glanced at others dishes. We ordered the normandie fondue and he traditional three cheese fondue. The waiter did not mention that one fondue is good for two even three people. So minus a star for not recomending another dish for us to try. The fondue was fantastic. But it only came with hard peices of bread. No fruits or veggies. It came with some slivers of undressed lettuce and some boiled potatoes. Kinda nasty and the two of us did not touch the sides. A bit of a downgrade from canadian or american fondue if u ask me. I was expecting more. The cheese was great but the accompaniments were lacking. So minus another star. Seating is situated like u are touching other diners and I was in the walkway and everytime the servers passed by they kinda hit my arm occasionally. It was annoying and not very polite at all. I felt like a tabke should be removed to ensure this did not happen. So minus a star for the unintentional rude bumping every minute during my meal. So I normally would rate this place a four bc of the awkward seating and poor sides. Looking at other patrons the sides consisted of lettuce or fries. Hmmm but the prices were cheap. Less than 20 euros a person with wine. So come here if youre in the area and like crowds with a relatively cheap menu. But I would stick to the fondue menu.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced dinner in Paris in St. Germaine, this is a great stop. Pure French fanatics may not enjoy this place, but it beats the typical French-American cuisine in the States hands down. Various menu selections and nice house wines by the carafe. I love these little, off-the-beaten-path, places.
