Came here for dinner and was expecting it would be good because of the 4-star rating, but it was just okay. We got seated right away as the place is pretty big and it was not filled. Items ordered: Escargot — Was a little bland in taste, but it wasn’t bad and it wasn’t overcooked either. Just wish there was a little for flavors to it instead of just olive oil tasting. Foie Gras — First time having it and I thought it was okay. They give you 2 huge slices of it. I had nothing to compare it to at the time.(After eating it a couple more times later in the trip, I have to say that the others were a lot better tasting) Duck Confit — They give you a whole leg and thigh part. It seems like this was pan fried and it was a little dry. Flavors were okay. The potatoes that came with it was pretty good. Lasagna — Nothing special… it was just okay. Overall, this place has a nice view to people watch. The food is okay. nothing special.

only popped in here for a few beers for myself and a couple glasses of wine for my fiancé, but we were left with an incredible impression due to one person: sarah. sarah is the angel from heaven who was polite and charming while also being attentive and informative. we were starved for wifi and in dire need to contact a friend we were meeting on our last night in paris. sarah sat us down, got us connected, and brought us our drinks. she was fun to talk to and was genuinely a very good person. although she was the best part of our experience at the café, the view was a close second. sitting along the siene and gazing at notre dame while i watched the hustle and bustle of la halle pass by was an awesome experience i will not soon forget.

If you are a American reading this review find another restaurant because when I ate there the other day the service was horrible. The only thing that maybe stay for 4 hours was the amazing food! But I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking to find food by the Notre Dame Cathedral!

I expected this place to be good, but it was just okay. I guess I should’ve tried their brunch menu, but I came at ~2pm. I had the boeuf bourguignon and escargots. The escargots was okay. Nothing phenomenal. There was a green, pesto-like oil that came in the escargot that was pretty decent to eat with the bread. The boeuf dish took a long long time to come. I almost thought they forgot it since my friend was almost done with her chicken sandwich platter when I got my plate. It lacked seasoning(namely salt). Service was pretty MIA when I went… which is quite a contrast to other reviews. I guess it’s a hit or miss thing.

We had to restrain ourselves from going back here every day for breakfast. It was a short walk from our hotel and on our way to the Louvre. The breakfast set was that of any other brasserie in Paris, but the view was wonderful and the eggs that were served with the set were outstanding. A great place to stop and take in the view while enjoying Paris’ unique ambiance.

Fantastic experience in the shadow of Notre Dame. We stopped for a nice brunch after mass at the Cathedral, and have to say our experience was top notch! My wife ordered the duck and pâté salad, and she remarked it was perfect, the best duck she has ever been served. I had an omelet, and honestly I can’t figure out how they made it taste so amazing and creamy. More than just the quality of ingredients, it was cooked to perfection. Even my daughter’s kid’s dish was fantastic. The drinks were a tad skimpy, for an American’s taste — but they went very well with the meals. Service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and patient. He managed to shatter every stereotype of an dining experience in Paris.

Nourriture tres correcte voire tres bonne.

Excellent location. Just a short walk from Metro chatlet and is on our way to Notre Dame. I had rump steak with fries which were excellent. My wife’s chicken dish with onions are excellent too. Best of all, price are very reasonable as well. Both are well under 20 euro. Friendly services and they speak good English

Stopped here for a late lunch as we walked from the Louvre over to Notre Dame. Our waiter was a friendly gentleman who was constantly joking around. He spoke pretty good English as well, so we had no problems ordering. My travel companion had their mussels and fries, which was surprisingly fresh and delicious. My wife had their hamburger, which while expensive at 16 euros, was absolutely fantastic. I ordered their duck confit, which was cooked well but relatively bland and lacked flavor. I would have given them 5 stars had their duck been more flavorful… Also, they have free wifi here.

Based on reviews of others, we stopped here for dinner. For the price, we had a great dinner. We split a salad entrée between the four of us, the vegetable salad. Absolutely delicious. That was followed by plats of mussels, rump steak, and veal. All very nicely done. Wait service was attentive. We would definitely go back again for the quality of the food. My husband is very picky and he rates this well!

I would do a 5 star review if it weren’t for the gambas(grilled shrimp skewers) that I ordered. It’s the most expensive on their menu at 19 euros which was reasonable but not palatable. The sauce that came with it did help, so it was ok. What amazed me was the duck confit; serving was good considering its in a touristy area and the price which is about 14 euros. My kids really loved the pizza which was comparable to a medium size pizza unlike another café we went to by the louvre which cost about the same for a slice. Overall a good experience as service was good too so I left extra coins which was not normal in paris!

It’s really hard to pick a café in Paris, with all the hustle and bustle of tourist places. So when we were walking away from the islands area along the river and we came across this place, we thought we would give it a try. Firstly, the service was fantastic. Our waiter was lovely. Even though i tried to speak french, we mainly conversed in English, and he also helped me out with some french. The food was actually really good! Husband ordered the baked muscles. He claims they are the best he has had in a while. I ordered the duck confit which was really yummy too. The potatoes were so good! I would recommend this place based on the food and the lovely staff who characterised our lunch.

Cruise along the Seine River and find Paris like never before. The only annoying things are the tourists though, who stand up all the time and try to record the whole cruise, blocking sights. You just have to find a great seat. Excellent trip for EUR8 onwards, and extremely romantic at night. It is freezing in the winter though, but if you’re strong, you can sit outside(everyone fled inside) and have a clear view of everything. My suggestion: go around 6.30. You’ll get a glimpse of sunset, a nice view of the right bank and in the return trip, you get a clear night shot of the exploding Eiffel.
