Comme Autrefois

I went to this place more than ten years ago for the first time.
A friend of mine had told me that it was some very good sandwich for a very good price. It was true, very simple sandwich but with good ingredients and delicious bread!
On Monday (22÷12÷20 014), back in town for Christmas, it was a perfect day to have a stop on the beach for lunch!
Located just behind place massena, it was just right to see if some things don’t change in this world.
And apparently they don’t :)… Forget about fanciness and all the bling bling of the south coast :) You won’t find the top trendy pastry here but the simple, traditional bakery.
Try the pan bagna (with anchovies) try the other sandwiches. You won’t regret it!

We found this cute little store that sold various different sandwiches and baguettes.
We bought two sandwiches, which were only three euros each, so affordable! It happened to be so close to our hotel and along a main road.
I ordered a chicken sandwich & my husband had the Salami baguette. Yum! Wish I had bought more to take with me!

Boulangerie patisserie située en plein centre ville, Comme Autrefois propose toutes sortes de pains (dont un recouvert de fromage gratiné, miam), des patisseries classiques comme le millefeuille ou les éclairs, mais aussi des patisseries qui évoluent selon la saison et donc il y a en ce moment, petit suspense… des bûches ! Sinon, on y trouve aussi tout ce qui se fait en matière de sandwiches pour les déjeuners rapides, notamment le pan-​bagnat et le paysan que j’aime beaucoup: un grand pain au pavot coupé en triangle garni de tomates, salade, jambon cru, mozzarella et filet d’huile d’olive… En prime on peut prendre pour environ 7 euros un menu avec un produit salé, un sucré et une boisson. Petit bémol, les vendeuses né sourient pas et né sont pas très avenantes, alors un petit effort et tout sera parfait !
