We spent a week in southern France near Uzes and decided to give Forest Parc a try. Our kids(15 year old boy and 11 year old girl) were super excited. Forest Parc did not disappoint. All 4 of us decided to do the package with the 7 courses. I think that it was 18 euros each. It was very laid back. The instructors were great and spoke English. They take you or your group and help you get set up. Then they spend 10 minutes teaching you how to work the carabiners and pulleys and letting you practice on the ground. Then you are set to go. It is much more independent than anything you would find in the US. No waiver to sign, no instructors following you around or watching you. They teach you what to do and then you are off! The courses were great. The progress from easier to harder, although, I thought even the first one was challening. Lots of climbing, ziplines, and traversing on wires and platforms and such. There was a lot of variety. The kids had an absolute blast. The adults had a great time too, and were a little sore the next day to prove it. Our son even elected to do the black course for kids over 14 years old. We went on a weekday during the summer and it wasn’t really that crowded. We almost never waited in line or up on the courses. I would HIGHLY recommend this activity. It is an especially great break if you are doing a lot of sightseeing and historical stuff.
