I agree with other reviewers: an excellent place. We had our best meal in Avignon here. We had mild goat cheese with vegetables for entrée(appetizer), and it was lovely. My chicken(the main dish) was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in side. My companion liked his fish dish. A white wine from Chateauneuf du pape we had here was wonderful as well – very dry and refreshing.

Hidden germ! They serve Mediterranean Cuisine. Good quality and fair prices. Good service and good choise of glass-wine! Enjoy

Very nice location one street over from the Papal palace. Across the street from Provence Tours office, that’s how we stumbled on it. Friendly staff speak English well. And the food is flavorful and delicious. But the main course portions are a bit small so order a starter!

Easily the best food I’ve had in Avignon. Stumbled into it randomly based on the wine listings, and very glad I did. They dont have a huge menu, but what they do offer, they do it well. We ordered some local wine(When in the Rhone valley, why drink anything else??) And enjoyed the sun. Outdoor seating is offered of course. The service was very friendly, polite, and attentive, which is often hard to find in parts of France. I ordered the steak and frites, cooked medium. I got a perfectly medium cooked piece of beef, some crispy fries, and great bread with dijon. Very reasonable price, all local, and delicious.

Conveniently located next to our hotel, originally wasn’t our first choice. Under circumstances got late and we decided to dinner at Le 46. Seating outside was joy and friendly service made our night. Our entrees were tasty and right portion size. Exceptional was Panna Cotta as desert. Must have. Love the raspberry sauce what come with.

We sat down for lunch with the unfortunate constraint that we needed to drop off half of our party at the airport soon, so we had to urge the staff to be quick, which is quite an un-French thing to do in a restaurant. They took it in stride, and we made it on time. We all had various salads, and were happy with what we received. There were several interesting options for wine by the glass, and we were satisfied also with those our choices. I’d like to try this place again without the rush!

The best. We are here for lunch and knew we wanted to return for dinner. Staff is friendly bus knowledgeable. Started a review under Brunel but they informed me that is not the correct name. New chef. The staff asked me to post under their new name. The apprentice to Brunel of 28 years gets his own name and gig. Market fresh. Innovative food. See photos
